TC = Soft, smooth and beefy.

Rifles feel totally dead to me, btw, and PX feel snappy.

i was at the range with my sb1's in kbs 5.5, a vega 6i s300, and a tm rac 6i with tour concept. IMO in terms of smoothness it was DG300 < KBS < TC (smoothest). i wish i had it in my sb1's to hit but in any case i think i'm sold on them and i'm gonna have joe kwok put them in my irons. i haven't hit any other shafts like px or nippon.

TC is a progressive kick point shaft which kick the ball higher towards longer iron, thus it'll make it the shaft play softer towards long iron by around 1/4 flex.

Most of my customers said it's one of the smoothest feeling shaft and easy to load towards longer iron.

Hi Joe,

I'm about to reshaft my AP2s and have narrowed it down to the usual suspects (X100, Rifle, PX, Black Gold, and TC). I'm leaning toward the TCs but am really concerned about the dispersion throughout the set. How do the TCs perform in terms of dispersion? Also, in the scoring irons is the trajectory similar to X100s?

Thanks,
Michael

Joey's experience may differ, but for me, the TC play a lot more like heavy Dynalite than like DG, even in the short clubs. The feel is so smooth that I play them in the winter months, when it's often near or even below freezing. However, in temperate weather I reshaft back to PX, because dispersion is so much tighter. I really don't see many strong aggressive swingers playing TC, even in X.

If you are fitted for the right flex, you should be fine IMO.

If Stewart Cink and some others has no problem, so should you IMO. Again, The key here is fitted properly.

Shorter iron gets closer to the DG ball flight.

Feel is subjective to the individual IMO.

I love the TC...very smooth and produces nice energy on the shot. I really feel like I was a club longer in TC than I am DG.

Joe Kwok did my TC work and it needs to be done again when things settle out with me.
