Kiawah, Hilton Head, or Florida???

Hey All:

We are in the early stages of trying to plan a golf buddy trip towards the end of April. Leaning towards Kiawah but not sure how warm the temps will be the end of April. For those of you who have gone, what are the day temps usually like? Anyone have a great connection for package deals with renting villas/homes? Would love to stay at Sanctuary but not sure some of the guys in the group will want to shell out that kind of money. Plus in a villa/home, everyone can have their own room most likely. In Kiawah, besides the Ocean Course, what other courses are must plays? Most of the guys going are single digit handicaps and all enjoy really great/pristine tracks.

Kiawah is great, but pricey for a buddies trip. FLA has many options at a reasonable cost. Avoid HHI for a golf destination. It's got a lot of great attributes, but great golf is not one of them.

Hey Bubb:

Thanks for being the only one to reply! LOL. Would have thought for sure more people would have chimed in. The problem with Kiawah is that there are no direct/non-stop flights from Boston there. We may end up having to do FL but not sure where to go. We just went to Orlando in Nov so don't really want to go back. Other options would be PGA National, Jacksonville (TPC), Innisbrook, ???

A few buddies and I took a 5 day golf trip to Innisbrook in August and it was one of the best golf trips I have done. They treat you very well, have 4 very different courses, and you can play golf all day. Price was very good compared to some other FLA alternatives we looked at. Since it was a guys trip, we wanted a place we could play lots of golf and never leave the property if we didn't want to. Food was included in our package and was a lot better than expected. Only downside is the nearby night life wasn't that great but that wasn't the focus of this trip. We save Vegas for that. Best deals can be had by going directly through the resort.
