Sweaty hands...

I have the unfortunate distinction of having the sweatiest hands on the planet. My question is this--will gloves like the footjoy RainGrip be just as effective if the moisture is coming from the inside instead of the outside. I would appreciate any input-- providing, of course, you're not too busy stifling the nausea caused by my query.

I have seen a product called Dry-hands in golf shops, I wouldn't think the gloves would help imo.

I don't have an actual answer to your inquiry, but I just wanted to say that during my usual late summer trip to Myrtle last year it was hot as hell like usual. One day I was already on my second glove for the round because of how sweaty the gloves were getting, and I said F-it, I'm ditching the glove for now. I immediately fell in love with playing with no glove...sweat was less of a problem, I seemed to gain some feel, and I have yet to experience any discomfort because of it. Moral of the story: heat and subsequent sweat led to one of the better changes I've made recently

Arrid or Right Guard spray anti-perspirant on the hands helps.
I have a friend who plays in his rain glove during the summer. He says it helps him. Guess it is because they are not leather and are more absorbent.

I have stuff in the shop called Dry Hands. It is made by Charter golf products, and it apparently works pretty well. Basically all you do it apply it to your hands and it takes rain and persperation away. I have never personally tried it, but for a few bucks its worth a shot.

i've used the arrid spray on the hands. it works okay. what stores can you buy this dry hands stuff at? i've found some online but the shipping costs make it like $15 bucks.

I use a rain glove year round for this. Works great just make sure to change it out or take it off once in a while to dry your hand off.

I agree with Dry Hands being good. I got a bunch of free samples several years ago at a tournament and I always keep some in my bag.

I actually have this same problem, whether its golf or when I'm lifting. However, I do have a bunch of lifting chalk...would that be against the rules to carry in the bag?

I'll echo the comments on the Dry-hands lotion. I have very sweaty hands, and this stuff lets me play in the heat of the summer without a glove. The best part is that it doesn't make your hands sticky like the Gorilla Gold towels (I know some people swear by the GG towels, but I couldn't stand how sticky it made everything, from my grips to my golf balls). On a really hot day I might have to reapply some on the turn, but the stuff works great!

go to the bowling alley and buy a rossin bag. As a bowler it is very very important that your hands are dry! I have three in my bowling bag and one in my golf bag..
