Launcher 460 Comp vs 905T

Anybody play or hit both?

With the same loft and both with similiar shafts can anybody give a quick comparision,forgiveness.length.traj? Thanks.

Played the Comp 460 last season with good results, probaby the longest driver I've ever hit. Switched this year to the 905T, which I love. Here's the breakdown: Comp 460 is definitely more forgiving and about 10 yards longer on average for me. However, I hit the 905T much straighter. I'm hitting a lot more fairways with the 905T, so I'm more than willing to give up 10 yards and a little forgiveness. I've seen mixed reviews on the 905T, but it has worked great for me. Both drivers are excellent however, so try them out, test different shafts, and go with what works best for you. (My ss is 105-108, handicap 3)

Last year, I must have tried every driver on the market, and it came down to these two. I found the larger size of the Comp a bit more inviting to blast one, but I also felt that I had a bit less control. The comp was more forgiving and it was a bit eaier to hit a bomb. However, when I hit the 905 well, it was perfect. I also found the 905 to have a nicer "pure" feeling (some people call it the "titleist feel") when I hit it well. I ultimately decided on the 905 and have never looked back. But becareful: when I was demoing, I hit the 905 with both an Aldila and a YS-6+ shaft, and both combinations had very different results. So either get fitted or just try everything (that's what I always do). Good luck.

Launcher Comp is better imo. the feel and trajectory are just great. i really liked the club compared to the 905. i used a 10.5 in both and have a 118 swing speed. i now have a 10.5 g5 and love it more then any other driver out there. i know my swing speed is high for a higher lofted driver but its what gives me the best results.

It comes down to the right shaft for your swing.I've hit the 905T with multiples shafts and for me the NV65 stiff worked great. The Comp has been hit with a couple different shafts and I've found heaven with Diamana 73 stiff . Spin came down and tightness got much better while still keeping launch nice and high but with rollout.

I have never hit a Comp but I recently went to a 9.5 905t with a Prolaunch 65 Stiff and its by far the best driver fit for me. It longer and more forgiving than my previous FT3/Fuji Six Stiff 9.5 that I was playing.

With the right shaft I really think the 905T is one of the best drivers out there for the money.
