Ecco stopped making my shoe

suggestions please

Been wearing Ecco Flexor Hydromax shoes the last two seasons.
Still look and feel fantastic. Very well made quality golf shoe.

I have bad feet (need a couple of operations in the future) and would like to stay in these shoes. However, Ecco has stopped making this version. The newer Casual Cool models don't give me the same support.

Any suggestions as to what 2010 models are similar to the Flexor Hydromax?

You can try some of the Ecco outlet stores...only the ones that are company owned. The franchise ones are much higher priced, even on old stock. I don't know where you live but in Southern Ontario I know the ones in Niagara Falls, Mississauga Heartland and one called Ecco Baymac north of Toronto. Their website indicates the outlets.

There are still Flexor models being sold on Ebay and the prices are very fair

I feel your pain Canuck (sometimes literally when it comes to shoes/feet). I have 3 pair of the ECCO Flexors. None from the past 2 years because ECCO quit making the Flexor in a traditional looking style. Instead, the now look like all the rest of the sport-style golf shoes. (Seems like the FJ Icon is now the only traditional looking line of shoes unless you want to pay $450 for the ECCO World Class line - not gonna happen. They aren't even that nice looking IMO.) Sport style shoes are fine for summer and shorts, but I like a more traditional look with long pants. Plus, the Flexors had a unique shape - extra wide in the forefoot and more narrow in the heel.

Anyway, I'm not crazy about the looks but I got a pair of Adidas Tour360 4.0s (wide) and they are pretty darn comfortable. I've put about 10 rounds on them since the end of January and no issues so far. However, I don't think Adidas uses the same quality of leather as ECCO, so I'm not sure how they will hold up long term. The neoprene lining is a nice comfort touch though.
