Hey hey Richard! That is "legend" status there my friend. Wow! Some serious collection, darn near rivals Arnie's collection, to which I saw pics of. Very impressive and I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone in my addiction. Of course, I don't have it like that, but a brotha can dream right! Thx so much for sharing. I always figured you had the "the goods"! What's most impressive are the 09 Burner B's proto. MAN, someday I'd love to get my hands on a set of those. Congrats!!

That set could be discussed. I like them but there are a few others in front of the line.

Easyyy,

What is the story on the first putter in post #4 the flow neck? love the look of that.

BTW insane collection, It would take me 2 hours just to leave the house before a round to figure out what set up I wanted to use that day, I dont know how you do it.

That is a tour one off 330 mallet with a flo neck. Heavy also. I dont know the weight but I am thinking 350 to 360 grams.

You sir are a sick individual. I love you.

I love you to. ;)

WOW simply WOW no words can describe what I've felt after this topic.

All I can say is I wish someday I could have a garage like yours, thats my dream home, with a personal hitting area and my club collection rack.

Excellent job, I need to start looking soon for a new house, you really motivated me, guess Im not that crazy for having clubs in a corner in my room, and inside my wife's bag since she aint playing, inside the closet and in the living room a putting area jajajaj. Really, Im so excited to see your setup its really motivating and its money very well spent.

Gratz!

Well a few pointers. Make it high enough. Mine isnt high enough and it makes you hit 7 iron and higher to feel free enough not to manipulate your swing. Also if you can make it big enough for technology. Say a future launch monitor. They need like 10 feel behind you and I think 15 min in front of you.

How can you ever have time to play all of this stuff?? The more I look at these pictures I think to myself I could never own that much gear...I'd be exhausted before I even walked out the door to go to the course biggrin.gif

Again, I am truly amazed at the content of your collection.

I dont play all of it. I have say 3 sets of irons that are in the top lineup and commit to one of them. Last year I played with 2 sets for most of the year and a 3rd towards the end. Played with 3 drivers and fiddled with shafts. Scored better than I ever did in my life.

I believe it isn't the arrow, it is the Indian. I love fiddling with different arrows though.

Holy Macadoly,

I have honestly never seen anything like this. You're like a club god. How can you afford all these clubs? Made of money?

What clubs do you "game" or do you always switch?

Awesome collection!

EDIT: Are you working with golfclubs for a living or is it just a hobby?

Some of the equipment were gifts from OEMs in the last couple of years. But most were bought by me like the Satin Lehmans, RAC CB 2005, Scatch and the Don Whites were all bought. All the putters are personally bought. I am very driven. I am a part owner of a larger Automotive parts supply business in Detroit. That is how I can afford it. Once you get to a certain threshold you just keep trading. Buy this and sell that.

Anyone know if that orange/white ping bag is for sale anyways?

Nope. That is a sweet custom. The gold one is my gamer this year.

All I can say is WOW!!! I dig all the clubs, but I really like the hitting area. I take it the drop down ceiling does not go into the hitting bay, and the nets come out on the sides. Wish I had the room for something like that...maybe have to create something in the back yard. But I take it from the quote below that you know our great weather...I live on the east side, although spring is here and it will be 60 on Friday!!!!

Simply amazing. Did you purposely wait until most of the hos like Pitbull, JHR and the like posted to then say, in a deep Jack Nicholson voice, "Wait until they get a load of me!"

How long did it take to build that rack?

I took a peek at the website...Course and clubhouse look great. I think the 18th green would give me some fits; bet it makes for some very interesting conclusions to matches though

I read an article in Links I believe a couple years ago, and apparently there are companies that will build underground caves essentially which usually serve as wine cellars for wealthy people. The only thing I could think of when I saw the article was how perfect it would be to have a setup like Richard has shown here, but its underground and temp controlled. I don't need a big house, but I need a golf room...

Amazing collection. Any chance you have more pictures of the club rack? I am very interested in building one and am trying to figure out the specs. Thanks

With over 6 pages of replies, most of the witty responses have been taken...such as whats in my vault vs bag, airlines losing a set, how do you decide what to play...etc etc.

So I'll just borrow from Jack Buck...."I don't believe what I just saw" or Verne Lundquist "In your Life, have you ever"

I do have one curious question, I noticed in at your AP's and Cally Protos, you have your irons 8, 6 7 from the outside, is that just random or do you place them that way for some reason. I know I'm being much to anal but just wondering.

Thanks for sharing those, I've always wondered what your WITB would be....Now somehow I feel less of a man :)

Play at Dearborn CC all the time, great course. I also like Grosse Ile CC, another Ross gem.

That collection is sick - I thought that I had a lot of clubs laying around (4 complete sets), but in comparison - I've got absolutely nothing. Love the workshop & hitting area setup.
