17th Island green at Oyster Bay in Myrtle... Unfortunately this day we made the current tenant a little angry! Brother in law in the pic did not make the putt....what a chump

While the Bandon resort has a great number of awesome par 3s, I think my favorite has to be a new one at Old MacDonald.

 

Hole 3 in preview rounds (Hole 8 when completed)

 

While visually it may not look impressive. The green is the biggest green imaginable. 75+ yards long and 40 yards wide and undulations everywhere.

 

Biarritz holes are a ton of fun especially on a firm surface like Bandon. Old Macdonald is a great addition to the resort.

 

Here is a pic of the first Biarritz that I played at Shoreacres in Chicago. This pic is from behind and to the side of the green. The green is 85y long with a 3 foot swale right in the middle. I have hit 3 wood then 9 iron in consecutive rounds on this hole which to me is alot of fun.

 

 

 

 

The CB MacDonald/Seth Raynor's Biarritz 9th Hole at the Course at Yale:

 

The green is 65 yards deep with an 8-foot swale in the middle.

I had the same experience on Oyster Bay. It was a par 3 but I don't remember what hole. Big ole croc just lounging out and my ball came up short of the green pretty close to the monster. Scariest chip I've ever hit. Great course too.

Number 7 at Pebble Beach. That's one awesome little par 3. I have a few others I really like, but that one is always first on my list of par 3's I've played.

Me three, except I bladed a wedge to the back bunker and plugged , two to get out double bogey. One of the prettiest views in the world, golf course or no golf course.

About half the green is cantilevered over a pond. Majority of the tee boxes are below the level of the green.

Geeze, maybe it's because I live near Pebble Beach, that those I'm numb to those views now. Golf course by the Ocean, it's great but I've seen it so many times. Now this, I have never been to a place like that. What a wonderful picture, I bet a few weeks after that picture was taken it was even better with all the leaves changing colors.

I've been starting to take more pictures, but not any of my favorite Par 3's, hipefully in the near future.

I am loving everyone's pics. My picks in order would be:

 

Arcadia Bluffs- #13 - Beautiful hole over a raveen that runs into Lake Michigan

+1 Punta Espada #13, that's my favorite overall so far.
