New Polo Golf Shirts

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how the sizing runs on the tournament golf polo runs?

I am a medium in most Adidas shirts (L in the ones that have a "tight fit" tag), but Polo Golf has always to seem to run huge for me. Looking at the size chart, it seems as though I am a perfect fit for a Medium but I am scared to pull the trigger as these are non-refundable. Anyone know? Thanks.

P.S. also a Medium in Nike

I was looking at these shirts today online, and I believe the "Create Your Own" Tournament Polos are the "Classic Fit" cut. I wear a size Small in Nike Dri-Fit golf shirts, and a Medium in the Polo Pro Fit golf shirts. If you're a Medium in Nike golf shirts, I'd go with a Large, easy. I think they are 100% cotton as well, so they might shrink a little. The Pro Fit Tournament shirts that are more of a mesh material would probably be closer to a Medium, however.

Hmm I'm not too sure about this. The nike mediums are a tad big, and all my other polo golf shirts are a small and they fit fine. That being said, I think with the advice you've given me a Medium sounds like the right choice. Anyone else that owns these?

Size Medium laid out on a bed measures 22" across the chest after a couple of washes.

I'm between S/M ( closer to small ) in standard Izod shirts and Adidas ClimsCools.

I first ordered the "Slim Custom Fit" and it was super small.

I've never tried one of these polos on but I wear a small in Under Armour and Nike regular cut polos and a medium in RLX and Dunning slim cut polos.  I've tried on a "classic cut" RLX polo in a medium and it was too big for me (not horribly too big but I like a slimmer cut).  If you are between 2 sizes, I would definitely go with the smaller size.

You may want to consider buying one of their non-custom to get the size right before ordering a custom polo that you can't return.  Polo has a great return policy on items that are returnable.  They even provide you with a pre-labeled envelope for returns.

i have one. I usually wear size L and I got this in a large. While it is a little big I think medium would have been to small. The only thing I dont like this shirt is the material is a little heavier that what most people are used to for a golf shirt. They are great just on a super hot day I tend to use something lighter like UA

Also, every time I have worn it on the course I have received a bunch of compliments. They really look sharp.

Thank you thank you. Ya I think they look awesome too. It sounds like a Medium should be perfect

So in your opinion these fit slightly smaller than adidas clima cools?

Have a bunch of the new tournament polos. I think they run a little big. I wear large in adidas and got large in the polo. Not sure that a medium would be better, its just that the large is a little large. Order the size you typically wear in adidas just know that the adidas and the polo are very different in terms of sleeve length and cut. But they are sooooo nice.

Hmm, see my adidas polos are maybe a TOUCH big in the Medium, do you think I should go small in the Polo?

what I would do, is take your measurements, e-mail customer service online and write them with your question. I have e-mailed them in the past and they are pretty good about helping and even after their online response they gave me another # if I needed further help. If not that, go to a local macy's, ect. and try on the polo golf shirts....this time of year you shouldn't have a problem finding them.
