SeeMore fgp mallet vs fgp2 vs. mfgp2

Can anyone comment on the difference between these three similar models? I tried the fgp mallet and really liked it but I've never seen either of the others in person.

I will give this a shot. First, the fgp is not a mallet. The fgp2 and mfgp2 are mallets. The difference between the fgp2 and mfgp2 is the mfgp2 is milled and the fgp2 is cast. I have owned the mfgp, m3 and mfgp2. The mfgp2 is my favorite and is the only seemore putter that I still own. In my opinion, the mfgp2 is fantastic.

Thanks. Actually there is an fgp mallet. I putted with it today and it is on their site. Same head style as fgp2 and mfgp2.

The mFGP is not a mallet. It is more of a blade and described so by the company on their website. I will game if for the 1st time tomorrow.

I never mentioned the mFGP. What I was referring to was:

Well I just picked up an mFGP2 Black Label off the bay and all I can say is wow. The best feeling putter I've ever used and the roll out does my Rife Barbados. The milling marks on the face are exceptional and the overall quality is top notch. Excellent headcover as well. I'd like to see if I can add sightlines similar to my Barbados and black out the one on the top.

I have had a Barbados for three years and think it is the best mallet design ever. But right now, the SeeMore is working out better. Feel is definitely better, roll is comparable if not better (the milling on the SeeMore is top notch) and I like the heavier head. Alignment is equal: the sight lines on the Barbados are great but RST on the SeeMore works well too. I only look at the RST after I'm in the set up position and I almost always have the face square so I don't think it's all that important for someone like me. (I'm thinking about getting some aftermarket work done and have Barbados-like sight lines put on the mFGP2.) I think the smaller head promotes an easier release of the putter and this seems to be the biggest benefit for me. I would love to see a center shafted mini-Barbados. But until then, the SeeMore remains.

Btw: Put a Pingman Blackout grip on it. I align my hands so the palms are together and both are square to the target. Perfect grip for it.

I've had my mFGP2 for about 6 months now and I am still loving it. It is from their Private Reserve line and the feel is perfect, very soft like I like and the mill marks are sweet looking. I also only really use the RST to help me make sure I'm square to my intended target line. Occassionally on the putting green I'll use it to make sure I'm taking it back and letting it release correctly. You won't be disappointed.
