My New Putter

I guess this is the most appropriate forum to post this, but I need to post some of my pictures somewhere to let everyone here know I have this in hand now, haha.

Sorry for the poor lighting, but I haven't been home during any daylight hours for some quality pictures of the putter. Most of the pictures show the finish and sight line, because I thought those were most impressive features, although the entire club itself is a beauty, down to the paddle grip. I will take this onto the course, even though I'm a righty (I've putted lefty before, but over 10 years ago and only for a few rounds), just to honor the club and the giveaway. If this ever makes it to retail, I'm buying a right handed one in a heart beat.

Oh yeah, the loft on this thing is nuts, I tried to capture that in a couple pictures, but it doesn't do it justice. Maybe in broad daylight I'll be able to get some better pictures. Someone suggested I have all the specs checked out too, just for the information - I can say that the head is heavy, maybe around 360 grams, and the lie seems about standard.

Btw, the sight line is perfectly straight if you set up correctly, I just suck at taking pictures with one hand.

edit: how is the feel of the insert if you don't mind sharing? is it firmer than the normal odyssey inserts?

Forgot about the feel - compared to my ancient Rossie II, it feels really soft actually. IIRC, it is also softer than most of the #9s that I've tried, except I've never tried the Black i series. Maybe I got one of the fast green versions that they made for Phil.

I can guarantee that this putter would sell for $5,000 on ebay, and it would sell to a Japanese person. They overpay for this kind of stuff all the time on the bay.

Honestly, Id start it at 7,000, and then wait.

I'd think that unless he pulled the head and stuck it in his pocket he'd have a hard time getting it through the gates. Then, if they're like Eastlake and Augusta and you have to go through metal detectors you'd still have a hard time getting it in. It might be worth it, but I'd be more inclined to shoot an email to his site and see if something came of that first.
