Reshafting a Scotty Oil Can Coronado Two

What tip size do I need???

Hey Everyone,

In one of my other posts I was looking for some help on fixing up my Scotty Cameron Oil Can Coronado Two, but now I need some help on determining what tip size is needed to reshaft this putter!

When I got the putter it was all beat up and the shaft was bent. I've since sent the putter to Tom Slighter to have the dents fixed and the face milled. So now I'm waiting for the head to come back to finish the refinishing process and waiting for the shaft I ordered to get in. Somewhere I heard that a 270 flare tip bell shaft from Golfsmith would work with this putter but I may be mistaken....

Anyone know if this shaft will work??

So I know I haven't gotten any responses on this, so maybe some pictures will help. This is the Coronado I need to get reshafted, and talked about in my refinishing post.

Any idea what shaft will fit this putter?

Go to golfsmith.com or golfworks.com The replacement shaft is a bell flair tip shaft. It is made by true temper and it will cost about $10.

Thanks bunana3! I heard that the True Temper 270 bell tip flair shaft would work so I ordered it through Golfsmith April 1st and it still hasn't come in. It was backordered and I was never informed so I emailed Tom and asked what shaft was on the head in the pictures and he said it's a .355. I called Golfsmith to try to switch the 270 to bell flair to the .355 and couldn't so now I've got both coming... hopefully they show up before I graduate in two weeks!

May I add that, even though the 'original' Coronado is beautiful, this is a VERY beautiful version. Hope you'll play well with it!

This is too true! I really wanted to refinish it to original..but this does look amazing! Can't wait to get it shafted and try it out!!
