Can you buy Scotty shaftbands?

Saw a CS band on eBay I want buy want authentic

I want a lime green shaft band that's authentic. There is a lime green shaft band on eBay that the guy says is authentic. Thing is, when I go to SC it says one is available per order and they're not sold individually without a resto according to his site. My putter is perfect and doesn't need resto. I just want a lime shaftband for it to match everything. It's stamped and won't be sold I just want the band to match. Any possibility this is legit? It says new and
never used, so he didn't pull it and put it on release paper. Claims it has the Scotty item number on the release paper.

Yeah, I bought my custom shop band off eBay and it was legit. I know it's possible to get the just theshaftband from Scotty if you go to his "warehouse" haha. I would trust it's authentisity.

You can't just buy a shaftband from cameron but that also doesn't mean that this one isn't legit.....just not sure how they got it...maybe from the tour van, the warehouse, the company that makes them, etc. I've also heard of people peeling them off shafts but not sure how that works out. I'm also fairly certain that people have made 'fake' ones before as well. If you really want to be sure it is legit, pull the shaft and send the head in for a new shaft/grip....my guess is that might be the only way to be sure it is legit. Personally, for a shaft band, I'm not sure I'd be that concerned. If you like that one, buy it and put it on. My only suggestion is to make sure that when you decide to sell it, please be sure to mention where you got it. JMO.

I have stamped the putter. When I stamp one I don't sell it. It might not always make the bag, but it's not being sold. It's for my collection.

YOU cant buy them from scotty but some people can... The people that can probably dont buy them...

I took the plunge. Let's hope it's authentic. Looking at his feedback and his items, it appears all he sells pretty much is SC stuff. He must be a TCC member too cause he has the TCC 2010 cover up for sale too.

I'm not sure but I don't think that is the shaft band.....it is just a sticker. It says 3 x 3.23"......shaftbands are only about 0.75" wide (based on my orange custom shop shaft band). Not sure about the other dimension....but just enough to wrap around a shaft.

I've got one of those on my Jeep. It's a sticker, not a shaft band.

Agree- that's a decorative sticker. I had a drawer full of SC shaft bands (probably only 15-20 left) ... all legit. Never had any lime green ones though. If you need a Pro Platinum band I have a ton.
