Is there a website with college coaches emails on?

Hi all,

I'm from England and hoping to gain a scholarship but I don't want to go through an expensive scholarship company over here, so I was wondering if there was any website or anything on the internet that have coaches email addresses on so i could email them my resume to see if they are interested?

Most Colleges/Universities will have the coaches listed by name under the indivdiudal sports with a hyperlink to their email.

The best website to use is Berecruited.com/ you set up your profile kind of like facebook. You put photos, videos, academic and golf information up on it. Many if not all of the college coaches are on there and you just have a look round for the right coach/college to suit you, some will email you back others will not but its the best thing that I have found.

The Ping College Golf Guide is $19-20 and has all of the schools and contact information. It also has a "book" type section that talks about the process, gives sample cover letters, NCAA and NAIA rules, sample resume, etc...

berecrutied is good b/c it allows coaches to let you know they have some interest in you on the website. The vast majority of the colleges that use berecruited are NAIA and D3 along with some D2 and a small number of D1.

As stated above, go to the various schools websites and find emails. Send each indvidualized emails to the coaches. Cover letter (email) with Golf Resume' attached and a link to your resume' website.

You may have to send more than one email.

You can also go to the national junior golf scoreboard and their 2010 college signees list and see what kids are shooting in tournaments and where they sign (it gives you their scoring differntial like +3.) NJGS rankings and differentials Info is base on at least 36 hole tournaments and at least 4 or 5 tournaments in the last year. Lets you know how you compare.

I am hoping to start 2011 but it is getting late but I am willing to wait till 2012

Im going through this for softball with my daughter. We went to the athletics section of the web site of all the schools she was interested in. There you should see a page for each sport with roster, schedule, coaches contact info, etc. Some of them even had an online form to complete for prospective athletes. You should be able to find what you need there. If they dont have the coaches email address, you can send a letter via regular mail addressed to the athletic department and put it attention to the coach. This is actually what we did for initial contact instead of using email. We sent the letters in blue envelopes so they would stand out.

It is late for Top 100 D1 programs. But maybe not for others. A lot of D3, NAIA and D2 schools are cranking up and will not sign a good portion of their 2011 class until spring. Of course if you routinely shoot 68 and win a lot of tournaments a lot of schools will find room for you!

Just go to the college website of your choice and you should be able to find it right on the schools golf page. If not there check the staff directory and you might even be able to get their phone numbers.
