Problems with grip slipping

What's up guys! I was wondering what the best way to keep your hands from slipping on the downswing and at impact?

Put tape on the inside of your hands.

clean your grips really well i had the same issue. but if that doesn't work change your how strong you grip the club and if that does not work get a corded grip.

Clean them off with water, maybe soap. Should make a huge difference.

You may have a poor quality grip, with the pressure in your hands in the wrong spots. If you wear a glove, do you tend to wear out the glove in the palm pad area? If you do, you have a faulty grip. You should never have to adjust your swing to keep the club from slipping out of your hands.

I do wear out a glove at the palm. Should I weaken my grip? I have a pretty strong grip.

Strength of grip has very little to do with it. It's where in the left hand you have the club. If you wear out the palm pad area, the grip is too much in the palm and the grip moves around when you swing which is why it wears this area of the glove. The palm pad should press down on top of the grip and be locked in by the last three fingers pulling up on the grip. Since I got my grip right 3 years ago, I've not worn out a single glove. Believe it or not, it works to actually grip the club more softly.

Careful with that one, people have significantly different amounts of strength in the hands / fingers. What feels like an 8 out of 10 to me, might only be a 4 out of 10 to you. Personally, I have found that the longer clubs will turn closed on me without sufficient grip pressure in the 3 smallest fingers of the left hand. And that is with a good glove, good grip, and proper grip position.
