I was switching between CG12s and 14s. For me, the 12s just work a bit better. I missed out on a set of CG15s so might be asking Santa for a 50/54/60 setup

how would you compare the alpha to the kai'li? curious to hear which one you prefer/differences between the two shafts

I gotta get a few more rounds in, but the Kai'li is a great shaft, just like the Alphas. If I were to compare the two, I would say they both spin similar with the Kai'li launching a bit lower. Comparing both shafts with R9 heads (8-1-8), the Kai'li wasn't a good fit in the 8.5* due to the lower launch. The Alpha is amazing in that combo. In a 9.5* the Kai'li was equally impressive. So much Im probably going to sell my 73 WB that I haven't even tried, its that good. Why else would I keep a 8.5 and 9.5?

UPDATE: Ya the FT Tour isnt going to make it. Compared to the R9s, it just feels dead. Which is odd because the face is considered hot. Well time that and the superdeep to go.

Ill get pics this weekend. I added some Iomics and paint filled the PNT2s with blue. Looks pretty good.

I am thinking of buying a 910D2 w/ Fubuki Alpha 60
What is the feel of the Alpha feel like? Blueboard?

Is it higher launching than the Blueboard but lower than the Redboard?

Which one of the Fubuki Tour 63 or Fubuki Alpha 60 is going to launch the highest?

How much is the Upcharge on a 910D2 to get the Alpha or Fubuki tour?

Um.... lol I dont know as Im not a dealer...

I think its about the same launch as a blueboard. My Kai'li def launches lower. But I use 70 grams for drivers so not sure on what the 60ish will do/feel

To me, the Alpha feels the same as the Fubuki tour, just a touch tighter which shows on dispersion

PX makes some good shafts (wish they suited me) and I've always liked the Srixon CBs.... you should post some comparison pics of the 701s and the ZTXs too, I'm sure people would be interested. Always good to see someone with the OG R9 and R9 FWs, all solid sticks still.

Im still the real Russ.. but thats how well me and the PX's get along Of all the gear Ive moved.. I think the Fubuki Alpha was the hardest.... still cant believe shes gone.

But thats a great idea about getting the top line pics. Im gonna be putting the 701s and j38s up here probably tomorrow.


And as far as the OG R9... One of them will probably be buried with me... right next to my trusty KCII. Im kicking around the idea of sending one 9.5* and the 15* to get 'ghosted' for $100....

Ironically we were out playing today. I just put a tiger shark fatty on my KC. Anyways we got backed up so we were playing around and he was draining them left and right. His Squareback, which hes usually pretty good with, was failing him.
