Nay, nay and thrice nay.

They look hideous and I prefer my irons to have a bit of character which, if you actually use them, they're going to get anyway. Look after them by all means, but don't obsess over keeping irons in flawless nick. It's not possible.

it fits my Burner 09 100% perfect but a lil big on my TP MB, however, the headcover snap on the head pretty good. i use remoter power cart for full season this year and never lost any of the covers.

I used a set of irons with covers for over 23 years. They are still in very good nick. I just forked out over $1300 on a new set of TM R9 TP Forged irons and I made sure had covers as soon as they came out of the box.

Those are the TM irons I wish were coming to the US. Beautiful irons. Atleast they could give us the TP logo.

I have iron covers on my new Mizzy MP53. On my cast clubs only when I am traveling.

Only posers have iron covers
....and your basis for this astute observation would be what???

Covers are used by people who want o protect their clubs for whatever reason. Perhaps so they can sell them down the road for a better price because from what I hear, "non-poser" clubs don't command as good a price when they are all dinged up. But hey, don't let me cramp your non-poser style. Just make sure you don't wager a bet against someone based on how he covers up his clubs. You might be providing him with more cash to buy even more "poseresque" stuff.

I, for one, have some iron sets that are forged and quite expensive (anywhere from $1700-$2000 for the set). Yes, I know they aren't jewels but if I can keep them pristine, it helps me if and when I sell them down the road. As for cast clubs, like a Ping, I wouldn't bother. They don't ding up badly anyway.

Like I said in a previous post, some of the best guys I've ever played with use iron covers. They are by no means "posers", but true players, and could probably take care of people that makes comments like that pretty quickly in a match. Who uses that word anyway?

Hopefully you were joking, but there is no reason for any sort of name calling on wrx.

I have a bag called the quiet organizer by Bennington. It shows off your stuff and keeps the bag rash away. I had my mp's before I got this bag, but I will definately keep this bag to keep the new mp's shiny. Some clubs look too damn good to beat them up. Plus this bag really is quiet, other bags get annoying after playing with one of these.

Can't figure how to post my personal pic of the bag off my mobile.

You can also order them with the KBS Tour shafts (as per US R9 TPs) if you prefer and + or - 0.5" on shaft length. I had the lies adjusted after delivery.

Your irons are beautiful, but I was asking about your iron covers, lol. Where did you get them? Are your irons oversize, I have blades. Do you think they will fit without falling off?

I bought them online from a guy in Byron Bay, Australia. They were available in both "standard" or "oversize". I bought the standard as my irons are "blade" size. The set came with 3-SW. The "G" and "L" were available separately to match the set.

A well placed long towel and 2-3 neoprene covers usually guards all of them. Remember you don't need to cover all of them. Cover just enough. An uncovered iron next to a covered iron is protected. I stopped covering mine a while back, but when my irons were new I only needed to cover two irons. Each iron on either side of the two that were covered were protected. Cover two more irons by placing them on either side of your hybrid/3wood, which is covered.

I'm an anti-cover guy but have indeed used them in the past. One observation is they eventually fall off and you loose one then two and so on; becomes cumbersome and you will eventually get annoyed and ditch them...BB
Same here and cumbersome is right. On-off-on-off. Besides, I like to see my irons cause they're a beautiful thing to look at!
Only time i use covers now is when they are underneath an airplane or on a road trip.

Do these suckers stay on?

I use covers because its annoying when im using my carry bag and the clubs are clattering off each other when walking along. My clubs are forged too and i wipe them down after each round and then dry the covers for the next day.

I bought these covers on ebay... very cheap

I use iron covers and just put the cover in my pocket when I'm hitting a shot. I had some Titleist 755s that I carried with no covers and the chrome is so soft it just nicks all to hell. Looks awful to me. The Club Glove covers stay on great. That said, I kind of like the used-and-abused look, too. I've got some 735 cms coming. Not sure if they will get covered or not....
