I was sad to see that TAIII went from his Mills to a Scotty Detour for whatever reason. Do you have any info on why he made that switch..

I will not accept that as a valid answer.. How can anyone make more putts with a Scotty product than a T.P. Mills putter?? HA HA HA MILLS RULES

David Eger and Mike Reid on the Champions Tour.

 

TAIII is with Titleist and I am sure has a 14 club deal.

I've never put the two together at any point, but MALTBIE was playing NIKE. I did'nt see what irons he was playing but the driver was SQ and hot was SQ and ONE. Thought that was unusual.

What models do Trahan, Van Pelt, and Eager use on TOUR? I know on this site that TP Mills is well respected. But, many others in the general public are unfamiliar with their current products and only remember some of their past associations with Spalding and Mizuno...What is the game paln for TP Mills? Are you looking for growth and how are you trying to accomplish this? Is TOUR usage an area that you are trying to grow and how are you trying to go about it?

Roger has been a long time user of Mills putters. Every time we are at an event and NBC has the broadcast, Roger comes over and spends a lot of time with us and normally orders at least one putter from David.

Trahan and Van Pelt are both using very similar putters, Klassics with handmade plumbers necks.(about 3/4 shaft offset)

 

Eger has played with kind of a cross between a Klassic and a softtail. I have seen a few different ones made for Eger, as well as Mike Reid.

 

The Mills Co. doesn't pay players to play the putters, they do it because it is what they like and feel that it gives them the best chance on the greens.

 

We do want a Tour presence, but we obviously know that we can't compete in terms of payout $$$ that the larger companies can and we are comfortable with that. The company has always been that way.

 

We are more concerned with our retail/amateur customers, because that is where we feel we can truly make the greatest impact.
