One change is would make is to delete AOP from the list. Rand has now closed the Art of Putters to concentrate more on his Plaza Golf Store.

-CHRIS-

Rand has reopened AOP again so this link should be added.

Hey Good morning,
I have a question about the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Long 50".
Link from a previous comment: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/uploads/mont...237301572-2.jpg

I actually dont want to have this silly looking red-black grip, does anyone know if acushnet is gonna simply run this putter with a pure black grib aswell? Extra price wouldnt be a problem, but actually I like all the custom gribs of normal 32-35" Putters but I never saw any other grib of the long one?

Kind Regards and Thank you.
Does anyone know when the 2010 Scotty Cameron Putters will be released? I looked all over the official scotty cameron website and found nothing. I was looking to get a new putter, but if they come out within the next two or three months I'm thinking it'll be better to just wait. Your help is greatly appreciated.
i heard it was schedule for this month, but was pushed back to December. also, i beleive they were taking pre-order for some of the styles (Napa?) and if you didn;t get your order in, it'll be a long wait.

Are the Napa's being released thru the studio store or only thru retailers? I check the studio store several times a day awaiting the release. My closest retailer told me the Napa is only available in 35". Is this true? thanks.

Putters are sold only from Titleist accounts, never from the studio store

I already posted this in the Putter Talk section, but then i saw this thread and figured it would be a good place to ask. I just found a mid 1990's SC Oil Can Napa in my parents garage that i had back in high school. It definitely needs to be refinished, but i was curious if anyone could tell me what it is worth? Also if someone could tell me how to figure out what year it is from? I do know it was an original oil can but i was thinking of having it powder coated or refinished in something else but if it is worth more in the oil can finish them maybe i will go with that if someone can let me know. thanks a lot in advance.

The first OC Napa was produced in 1998. That was the year OC finish went into production. The first OC putter was done in 1997 and it was a Made for the Tour Newport Beach. As to value, I am not sure without pictures, but I would not put too much stock on it, specially if is beat up. Also, at 35/330g, it is a tough sell.

I woud restore it if you plan to use it. OC is a beautiful finish and if you don't want to send it to the Custom Shop, BOS has a very nice OC finish and less expensive. It is unfortunate that the Studio can't replicate the original OC finish, that was a beautiful finish indeed. The new OC finish does not look the same.

Good luck, I hope this helped a bit.

I thought the original OC and Black Ox finishes where done by BOS for Scotty. I could be wrong.

Link is no such thing.

BTW, I'm looking for a SC stitchback grip, and don't want to pay $59.99 like their site has them, at least last I checked.
Yeah, that is a very old link. Regarding the grip, I think you can get one on Ebay, just have to keep an eye for a good deal. Or just get a Gripmaster, it is the same thing unless you are looking for a Pittards. Good luck!
