Bushnell has a new hybrid unit

Absolutely correct assumption. If you can see the green. Only advantage of a gps unit is when you can't see for a laser shot.Some of us spend times in the hinter lands.

Oh I live in the trees..... I love my neo, don't usually need exact yardages to the pin, although I have been toying with getting a laser..... I'd probably use it more on the range than the course though.

It comes out at the end of this month. I have not heard to much buzz either. Thinking about keeping my 1600 with slope and adding the Upro MX.

Agreed, I think this is a fantastic idea. If you can see the pin, great - laser it. You want to also know what it is to the front edge? Perfect. This would definitely speed up play. And as far as bushnell being hypocrites - maybe. But hypocrite or not, it's a great product and this was going to happen sooner or later. Wish the GPS was a little higher quality though.
