Rangefinder help. Leupold GX-1 or Bushnell 1500

I have never used a range finder and have been finally convinced how beneficial they are. I am not looking to spend alot since I am not sure if it'll be something I use all the time.

 

Anyway I have seen some good deals on the leupold GX-1 and bushnell 1500. Between the two can anyone recommend one or the other? Much appreciated! Thanks

I have the Bushnell Medalist. It cost less than either one of those you listed, and works just as well. For the record, once you own one, you will use it all the time. Good luck in your quest.

Sorry, it was too easy.

The above mentioned laser is a great one. Leupold makes great optics as does Nikon and Bushnell. You don't have to use the most expensive one to get good results. Get one with good magnification and one that is easy to pick up targets. I personally use a Bushnell but the model I have I picked up because it is great for shaky hands. Good luck with your search.

I have the Leupold and think it's great. If you play courses with reflectors in their flag sticks, the prism lock feature is terrific.

Trust me, once you get one, you'll use it all the time. I have the Leupold GX1, and I really like the compact size.

Just got my 1500 yesterday..... surprisingly easy for me and my shaky hands to hold steady since you hold it like binoculars. Gonna take it to the club at lunch and fire it at some pins.
