I play a lot of golf but my knowledge when it comes to product is not the best.

I found a putter in my house that my father had received from KPMG as part of a business deal they had completed years ago (late 90's, early 20's)

Its a Santa Fe TeI3 Pro Platinum putter... It has the initials P.M. (not my father), the KPMG logo, and inscribed is 1/250. It has never seen the course, just wondering if I should keep it in the house or use it.

Post a picture if you got it. But, I believe that Phil Mickelson used Scotty Cameron putters for a while.........could the P.M. be Phil Mickelson??? If so, I would not game it!

Anyone know how many grams a Pro Platinum Newport Mid Slant is? Older model. Like around 1999-2001

Love the way it sets up. Perfect to my eye. However I have been experimenting with some other putters after some distance control issues surfaced and now the Scotty feels very light to me.

Any gear heads out there know this offhand or where to find without doing much searching?

Changed my grip on studio stainless Newport to a Ping man, and its never felt the same, feels really light, has anyone ever found this??

Just drove out of town on lunch to find the dancing red cord grip for £30, hope it can help find the magic for me again

I think most if not all of the Pro Plats are 335 gram heads, unless they are the Mil-Specs that say otherwise or Asian spec. Don't quote me on it though.

Hey, anyone got a pic of a Newport teryllium 2 refinished by the studio in pro platinum? I picked one up cheap at an antique shop believe it or not, must have thought it was old due to rust. Definitely sending it in just scared it will look like a studio style when I get it back if I pick pp finish.

Also, would love to have the writing ground off the sole of a putter or two, guessing custom shop would never do this?

I have a friend who dives for golf balls, and he came across a scotty cameron newport 2 detour that apparenty had been tossed in the lake/pond. It has some considerable water damage on the insert. What is my best course of action to get it repaired?

Anyone know why SC has NO mention of the caliente series on his sure except for the customs where there is a one liner saying it can't be refinished? I looked under every link for the putter archive. I actually kind of want one, not the red one though. I'm a fan if how this putter feels, don't like the red x

What is/are the difference(s) in the Newport 1.5 versus the Newport 2.5? Im a Scotty newbie, so if this question is asked out of pure ignorance.

The Newport 1 is bulkier than than the 2. The 2 seems to be a little lower profile. The bumpers have a different shape to them between the models, which contributes to the 1 feeling bulkier. The Newport 1 also does not have a sight line where as the 2 does.

I think most people get and game the 2, but I could be wrong. Personally I prefer the 2. I have a BB NP 2 and two different Mil Spec NP 2 models.

Are there going to be any new versions of Scotty's that are based on classic Ping designs like the My Day? It seems that the best sellers are all Ping designed putters, the Anser and ZIng. Has any original Scotty designed ever approached the sales of his Ping copies?

Sorry don't have a pic, but I am 100% sure that the Custom Shop will not grind off the engraving on the sole of any putter.

Just bought a Newport 2 of an american website with free postage to the Uk for £70,

yet to see it but when it comes through ill let people know, as they're still retailing at £185 over here!!

The Closest thing to a dale head is going to be the older pro platinum or AOP newport models. The Tour Rat also looks like this from what I can tell in pictures. I have never seen one in person and can only dream of getting one --- they are realllllly expensive. I hear rumors that the next Studio Select newport may be based on this.

Cameron's version of the Zing is the Laguna model, which was rereleased this or last year. It's pretty sweet.
