Srixon AD 333

* The new Srixon AD 333 features two industry firsts -first golf ball ever made with the revolutionary Rabalon elastomer cover, and the first golf ball ever to feature an odd number dimple pattern.

* The Rabalon cover is more resilient than Surlyn, yet softer than Surlyn. This provides the AD 333 with excellent initial velocity, feel and spin.

# Great for golfers seeking 2-piece distance, soft feel and greenside workability

# Enhanced E.G.G. Core reduces spin and increases launch angle

# Provides optimal trajectory and greater distance

# Rabalon Elastomer cover delivers greenside playability, control and spin

# 333 dimple pattern to optimize lift at low speeds for longer carry

# Promotes a shallow angle of descent for greater roll

# Available in 12-Ball Pack

I cant say I hit a 374 yard drive but I can say that ths ball really performed for me the other day. EVERY shot I hit with this ball it responded wonderfully!!!! I would put this right up there with the nxt tour, and bridgestone e6. It will be difficult for me to spend more money on any other balls at this time.

This ball is a winner.

I found it to be just as long as the TaylorMade Black off the driver with a comparable high flat trajectory and much softer around the green than the TM Black or the Bridgestone 330.

The cover is much more durable than the Bridgestone.

The price makes it a true bargain. Do yourself a favor and try this badly named, but very solid performer :cheesy: .

It's my winter ball Low compression ball of choice :)

I also use it when I visit the golf simulator - the ball is pretty tough and hold up against wear and tear pretty well for being such a soft 2 piece constructed ball.

YES ! You can easily find a ball out there that is more durable and won't scratch as much as the AD-333.

YES ! You can easily find a ball out there that has a more soft cover and higher spinning characteristics.

NO ! You can not find a ball out there that has all the best features combined better than in the Ad-333 and still sells for pretty affordable price.

I played with these the last few rounds and was very pleased with the results. Seemed to have more spin than the E6 but distance was about the same. I would say that they are very close to the E5 in ball flight but a tad bit softer. I got 12 balls for $17 and they are the best ball for the money in my opinion, the E5/E6 run for $24 around here. These balls can really take a beating without really showing wear and tear, I hit a couple of cart paths with minimum damage and hit some serious wedges that did not scuff the ball at all. I usually shoot in the high 80's and would say that these balls would be good for almost any players.

I finally got to try these out. I had a sleeve of old and new so I got to see them both perform.

In a word...nice. The old ball and new ball feel very similar. However, the new ball is a bit more durable . The new ball flies a little higher than the old one and flies a touch farther. Roll was a bit better though. Is it worth making a new ball over? I say, no. But if you want to try out a good value and good performance ball, here you go. These don't really spin that much, so don't ask it. It's a distance ball, that spins SOME.

Be careful! It's very good, but with the relatively low number of dimples...333...(which makes them deeper dimples)...they are VERY balloon prone if you have even a med-high, let alone high trajectory already. If you hit it high already, they could cost you distance.

Terrific ball. I have played just about every ball under $20 per dozen (all but the Wilson Zip) and i rate this ball the best, just a tad better than the Precept Distance IQ180. Why? This ball is more durable than the Precept and it spins a bit coming into the green, whereas the Precept doesn't spin. The AD333 is soft off both woods and irons but not so soft that you don't feel it off the putter. Its just the best ball for under $20.

To make a short story long . . . .

Last winter I bought a variety of boxes of balls at big discounts during boxing week and have slowly been weeding through them. Since I've been playing better this year I've been largely avoiding my supply of cheaper balls, but since I have a game coming up at a tougher course where I'm likely to lose a couple of balls I thought I'd pull these out today during a quick nine. Wow - these balls are nice! I picked them up at $15/dozen and there is nothing I've tried that even comes close for under $25. As has been mentioned by others, the spin isn't the greatest with these balls, but they're good and long, feel great coming off of all clubs from driver to putter and other than having the ball roll off the green when I hit my approach shots thin (which is a little less likely with the tour balls I've been playing) I can't think of anything I'd change. I really didn't feel like I was losing too much with these and after nine holes with one ball it didn't even look like it had been played for more than a hole or two even though I used my spin milleds on it a number of times. For $20 or less I wouldn't consider playing anything else and I'll definitely be playing them in the fall if I don't decide to stick with them before then.

Played 18 with the AD333 today.

As others have mentioned, they tend to head quite high. This isn't good for me, as it can get quite windy on my home course. I had a few pull up quite short, especially on Par 3's. Where my 6I would normally make the green with HX Tour, these were pulling up short. I'm sure I'll get used to them.

Other than that, they were fine. Scuffed up a bit with the wedges, but not bad enough to warrant replacing the ball.

Got some good spin, and some good distance off driver. Not a bad combination.

After I dumped two of my preferred balls in the creek yesterday, I was determined not to lose another, and I took a Srixon AD333 out of my bag. I found it in pristine condition a couple of weeks ago, and I thought, "Well, I'll try this one. At least I won't lose one that I really like."

I was surprised. I really like this ball. I was even more surprised to check it out on the web later and find that it was a two-piece ball -- with a higher compression (90) than my heretofore favorite, the three-piece Maxfli Fire, which has an 80 compression. I got great distance off the tee, good control, and good spin around the greens with it. The AD333 may be my new favorite.

I went into the pro shop after my round and spotted another good one in the used ball bucket. It was well worth the .25 cents. So I guess I'll be looking to buy these when I finally exhaust my supply of new balls sometime next year.
I don't normally buy golf merchanidse from Dicks but right now they have the AD333 for $25 for two dozen. A great deal on a great ball...I will be buying these until Dicks runs out or Srixon discontinues it.
+1, picked up two dozen from Dick's on account of the reviews here. First round I played with this ball, I got through the whole round with one ball and shot my lowest round. (I'm a 20 handicap, btw.) My ball flight is usually pretty low and this ball did help get a higher trajectory on the ball, leading to 1-2 more GIRs that normally would have rolled through the green.

I've played mostly value balls out there, like Maxfli Noodle+, Rev Solid, with a few NXT-Tours that I found on the course, and I'd say that this ball compares most closely with the NXT's in terms of feel and spin.

Not even taking the price factor into account I think the SSIXON AD333 Tour ball blows out the pro V1 out of the water. I find the pro V1x a horrible thing to hit, same feeling a Pinnacle that would have been found behind the radiator after a few years: hard as a rock. But even the pro V1 is too hard and gives pretty poor feedback on the short game side. Maybe it's just me as I really enjoy playing the extra soft Wilson Dx2 in summer sometimes, and I cannot argue with the number of tour players using the pro V1...

My swing speed is just north of 100 mph, and I usually flush the ball right in the sweet spot, giving me a 150-155 mph ball speed. Maybe then the Srixon is a better ball for this range of swing speed?

I find weird there are so many tests comparing different drivers, say the M1 against the 915, but it is impossible to find proper videos showing the Pro V1 vs the Srixon or the Nike?? Looks like some kind of forbidden territory... If someone could hit a decent driver like the 915 with the major 4-5 balls out there, I'd be looking at the results with great interest!
