Shepherd's Hollow is a highly ranked (public or private) golf course north of Detroit. They have 27 holes here. I played here back in 2005. There are multiple sets of tees and it is IMPERATIVE that you select the CORRECT set of tees that suits your game. Take LESS yardage if you are unsure here. This course is SICK HARD. The course is very beautiful as well as scenic and in tip top shape. The greens were LIGHTNING fast. $85 for 18 holes with cart. Sorry I didn't take more pics as I was too busy playing Army golf, left, right, left!

Great Golf Course, i really like it Tee to Green, but not a big fan of the greens, a bit tricked up for an already difficult course.

Beautiful place to play though, i will try to add more pictures to this thread next time i am out there.

Odd, I always score well at Shepherd's, even playing the Gold. Most of the FWs are quite wide.

I played this course several years ago before the last 9 was complete. It has some of the most beautiful golf holes that I have even seen. I need to get back up there and play that other 9.

HI,

Have played the course a couple times. Did not really find it that tough to be honest, but my expectations are typically not that high until i really know a course.

I am 3 Hcp, and if I break 80 the first time I play a course blind I am happy.

Note: The greens were not in the best of shape the times I played it. They struggled to cut the multi tier greens without shaving them down to dirt. Or leaving them too long.

They also need to add mor drainage in a few spots.

But over all its very nice, and worth making the trip.

P.S. If you have a connection to play the new course at Oakland Univ. (R S Sharf) its great and in perfect shape when I played it.
