I've played with and tweaked my Ping Anser JAS putter and it's perfect. Counterweighted the shaft and added enough lead tape to make it feel really good. The titanium creates a different feel to the putter but I really like it. Any other fans out there?

I used to have a limited edition F and it was a great putter. Like the JAS version even more.

Sounds like you have your JAS set up like mine. I think the JAS although expensive for a PING is definitely worth it's money. It has a great feel without being too spongy/soft and clicky. It's definitely on the short list of my "gamer" putters.

 

 

I am a HUGE ping fan. Not of the JAS in particular but more of an anser fan. Love the F for modern day in addition to the Dalehead and KCO.

 

Not the crap production f but the limited run with the large Ti/Ni insert that you see on tour( Chris Demarco comes to mind)

 

Karsten revolutionized puting as we know it. How can you not be a fan??????????????????

champ...I love that Ti/Ni insert one too. My friend has two of them and I keep bugging him to give me one! :cheesy: He say's he's trying to "cure" my putter ho-ing by not giving it to me! :clapping:

I have a JAS and I agree. The feel is different than any other and I like it. I might have to try to lead tape it up cause it does seem to be a little light. but what a great putter..

 

 

I have always kept it at 34" instead of my normal 32.5" just in case I ever wanted to sell it! Might have to cut it down now.

I love the feel of the putter, I just wish they had made it look like a

Scottsdale Anser with softer lines, a more rounded look. I look down on it and am distracted by the 'squared off' look. Which is pretty dumb but can't seem to get over it. :cheesy:

 

Maybe I should just stick with it and get used to the looks, trouble is I have too many alternatives :clapping:

Counterbalancing puts additional weight under your hands that tends to smooth out your stroke. It works really well.
