How's Green Valley Ranch? They don't aerate until next week and they have opening available. Anyone else want to join Josh and I on Saturday?

Don't know if you guys are playing Sunday but I wanted to make you aware of a great deal. The two courses at Keystone have a special rate through coloradoavidgolfer.com for the next few weeks at $52.80 (green fees and cart). That is a heck of a deal at two of our finest courses.

If I didn't already have a tee time at Lakota Canyon, I'd be interested. We are headed to St. George for a week of golf.

I don't blame you. I hear Lakota is awesome. Hopefully they aren't getting snow tonight.

Had a good time on Saturday. We should plan another date for the future where more people can come. Enough in the future so we can schedule it and put it in our schedules and that current tee times don't interfere.

I would definitely be interested in playing the Eisenhower Blue and so would GolfWRX member rbrb. Keep us in mind. Thanks.

Another Parker-ite here.

After a long hiatus, I recently joined a traveling golf league where we play various courses around the area on Saturday mornings (sometimes Sundays, sometimes both). First tournament is 5/5 at Saddle Rock, and the "tour championship" is at Castle Pines Golf Club (The International course) in October. One tournament I'm looking forward to is playing both Riverdale courses on the same day.

Because of other commitments, I usually only have time to hit Family Sports for a quick 9 every other Sunday afternoon (if I'm lucky). Now that I'm graduating from graduate school this May, my calendar will open up quite a bit.

I must say this past winter was truly awful. Normally I can hit the links once or twice, but everything was pretty much covered in snow until early March. And the skiing wasn't all that great this season, either. What a double whammy.

Just happened to stumble across this thread as it came up in the main forum index. Joshn08, I think most people like me just don't realize that this area of the forum exists since it doesn't get much traffic.

Pseudoswede, tell me more about this league you're in, sounds interesting! Especially the part about Castle Pines, been wanting to play that for years!

I was a member at Green Gables for a bit until it sadly closed last year, so now I'm back to the muni ranks. There are some great public courses in the Denver area though, and I live near downtown so I travel all over to play, whatever is available and has a good deal. I used to play in the Westminster mens league at Legacy Ridge and Heritage at Westmoor, a couple of my favorites. Colorado National, GVR, RD Dunes, were a few of our other regulars, as well as the city munis occasionally.

Last weekend I played South Suburban for the first time, for some reason I had never made it down there before. Really liked that course, and they even rolled the greens so they were super fast, a rare treat here in the Spring. Good condition overall as well for so early.

It would be nice to get a good discussion going here regarding the area course conditions, when they aerate, etc.
