Custom forged set of left handed Miura blades for a Junior player...the Japanese symbols are supposed to say "Spirit of Fire"

-5-3.jpg

Those look awesome!

They should for what they cost.....it was a set of irons for a 5 year old.....1-SW...the 1 iron was 28" long.....Gotta love that :beach:

Are these from an older LH set of dies or ground out of a lefty blade head?

Stunningly simple design, love the crisp lines on them.

Not really sure what the "Forging history" of there was...when we got the heads they were ready to assemble...approx. 1/3 the size of our regular LH blades and proportionally lighter.....looked really sweet but a bit of overkill for a 5 year old IMHO....In the end money talks :secret:

BTW........Anyone ordering Miura can have their initials etc etc forged in at the factory....done some very nice ones with that option ,including a set of the "Limited Forged" black blades, recently....now those are pretty!!!

That's brutal, man.

Actually I own a set. Not a bad club and a US Open was won with these.

IMG_3032Medium.jpg

You have more balls than anyone I have ever played golf with. You have Pavin irons (I think he played these to get everyone off their game), and you have iron covers? I don't care if they aren't for the VAS', you have iron head covers? You have balls of steel. The Nut Man for sure. What Staff club would you want to protect so passionately? I just copy and pasted the pic, @ 3:07 AM, by 10:00 AM the stream of email replies will be streaming in.

Iron covers on every set I own except these and yes, my nuts ARE HUGE and I'm a big boy. Do you wear your collar up and moose/jell in your hair? BTW, I also wash, wax and and vacuum my H2. (cool)

And besides that, WTF is it any business of yours or why should you even care? That in itself says a whole lot about YOU.

:yahoo: :cheesy: :cheesy:

I love it!!! There is always a smarta#$ in every crowd. I have always used iron covers on my clubs and to not do so is just stupid. They reduce theft to a degree but the most important thing is they reduce club chatter. When you're done playing with those forged Goober Buster MB blades and you try to sell them or trade them in, you will get more out of them if you use those covers. I love looking at clubs on FleeBay and see a set I may buy but then I zoom in on the pics and laugh at all the chatter. I guess some people are afraid to be themselves.

BTW - I use moose and jell, does this hurt my game?! LOL

Regarding iron covers - it is a dilemma - if you have beautiful irons (like my Hogan FTX) you definitely want to protect them. However, if they are so beautiful you want them to be out in the open so they can be admired, not hidden under neoprene. Like putting a baggy sweater and a ski mask on a supermodel, it's just not right.

My solution - a 14 divider bag (Sun Mountain Four Five) and be careful when taking out/putting away. Beauty preserved!

I love the Muirfield 20th.

And, with the exception of the Edge models, you could pick anything from this group. Hogan irons are some of the best looking irons ever made, in my opinion.

First of all, if you want to use iron covers around me, fine, no skin off my nose. But I have a solution to the dilemma of bag chatter/noobishness--I have one of those big tour towels and weave it through my irons while on the course. It's noiseless, prevents all bag chatter, and it's handy to have on a hot, summer day!

THIS is what makes an iron beautiful as far as I'm concerned.

IMO, the owner hit lots of thin shots with this iron. :)

Agreed. Especially for an 8 iron.

My Golden Ram Axial Tour Grinds are simply the most beautiful irons I've even seen, let alone owned. I would post some pics but our relationship is far too personal at this point.

I agree totally about the Sun Mountain Four Five 14 way divider bag. It is amazing at stopping bag chatter.
