I think I might actually take some lessons for the first time in my life. I have got to get more consistant off the tee, that's the goal. Right now, it could be a 74 or a 94!!!!

I will just try to hit balls at the dome and play a few times out west.

 

Lessons are pointless in Michigan in the winter, because you are only hitting into a net or the back wall of a dome, not true feedback for what the ball is actually doing.

 

Oh yea, and lose weight, eat better.

I'll be at the range for long hours. It's too hot here in FL to go to the range in the middle of the day, or even in the evening. So once it cools down I'll be at the range a lot. I will also be hitting the gym to try and gain a few more yards :clapping: .

I live in Salt Lake, so I can go months without playing golf. It's kind of nice to be forced to take a break after several months of playing golf all of the time. I do a lot of snowboarding in the winter and do some fly fishing.

 

My only resolution is to play when I get a rare chance in the winter just to get out and have fun.

 

My expectations have been too high the past couple of years. Maybe next season I will take it a little less seriously, have more fun, and probably score better because of it.

 

I have been playing golf for 30 years and lived in Salt Lake for the past 8 years. My low handicap is 3.9 from a few years ago. It is 5.8 now and dropping fast mostly because it's late in the season.

I will be working doing tax returns most of my off season. So what i will do is watch Sunday afternoon golf and regrip my golfs during the off season

I was going to say that too! I will be working on my short game in between working, helping DH landscape and golfing.

I will be working with a specialized sports fitness trainer to get into peak physical shape...and i will be flying down to florida every month so that i can practice....still havent talked my parents into letting me live in fla all winter with my grandparents even though they said its ok....bummer...but my mom is gonna fly me down every month which is sweet....ill get to constantly be on ballenisles' three courses and great practice facilities...across the street, Old Palms 35 acre practice facility and play at mirasol and PGA National. :clapping:

Surgery on my elbow, then back to lifting weights to get my strenght back to were it was at the start of the year. It's too late for me to worry about getting old and fat since my girlish figure wandered down the road in search of my youth a long par 5 ago.

I'm going to a winter golf school (start of Dec - end of April) that is open virtually all the time (8am-11pm every day). There are always pros available from 9am-7pm to give instruction. Also, two video analysis are provided.

 

Will spend at least half the time on putting and chipping. The other half will be on rebuilding my swing. Members hit into nets at 15 yards so ballflight is a mystery but the pros are almost always available to check things out.

 

I don't really have any set goals, I just want to improve as much as possible. With the ability to hit balls, recieve instruction, and chip/putt as much as I want the improvement should be quite noticeable as long as I stay committed.

Birdie, Weight loss is going to be my emphasis. A lot of gym worl I belong to a golf performance gym called Athletico. It is a mini version of TPI. Im looking forward to spending a lot of tiem there.

No off season for me- maybe a touch of club ho'ing via another set of irons? Will stick to the fitness regime and working on hitting fairways (scrambling for par/bogey puts too much pressure on my short game). I want more two putt pars and good looks at birdie.

To lose 30 pounds :D get in better shape with martial arts :D and work with a pro to improve my awful swing :D
