So I have played

Kauri Cliffs

Kinloch X2

Wairakei

 

besides a 77 at kauri cliffs and a eagle on the 18th a kinloch, the golf has been average.

 

On the other hand the courses make the scores less important.

 

And still have rounds at

Kinloch

Cape Kidnappers

Kinoch is a Nicklaus course in Taupo in the North Island, its the best course in NZ by a mile, and probibly the hardest. fricken umbeleivable course, but they do very little publicity.

Here are my top 10, a couple are very expensive/hard to access so its are to be able to compare all...

2. Paraparaumu Beach GC
3. Cape Kidnappers
4. Jacks Point
5. Kauri cliffs
6. Wairakei GC
7. Titirangi
8. Royal Auckland GC
9. The Hills GC
10. New Plymouth GC

Other notables are Arrowtown GC, Gulf Harbor, Poverty bag GC, Waipu GC, Oreti Sands GC, Chisholm Park GC, Royal Wellington Gc, Shirley Links and Clearwater Resort

Just my 2 cents but personally i think Paraparaumu Beach GC is so overrated. All my freinds think so too. Just don't see how people like it.

Wow, New Zealand. Of all the countries I've been to New Zealand was the coolest, the people were great, the country side is beautiful, damn(!) I'm starting to get jealous. Unfortunately I wasn't a golfer when I was there, lol, but it didn't seem to make any difference; the place was still amazing.

I would disagree, Paraparam on a day with a slight breeze and the greens in good conditions is a great test. I will grant you that the greens haven't been amazing the last couple of times I have played but it is a great test with some great holes.
