My question also is concerning yardage gaps. Every year the new clubs seem to promise 10-15 more yards from drivers down through the irons. While nobody would complain about an extra 15 yards on their drives, why would you necessarily want more yardage with the other clubs? Wouldn't that just mean bigger gaps and the need for more wedges?

How does the Burner 2.0 SF, R11, R11S and RBZ driver heads compare as far as spin rates?
(The video with SG mentioned the R11s would be slightly lower spin compared to R11)
Why is there no slot with the Driver, but yes on 3 wood and rescue with RBZ?

Will there be a R11s line of irons? Perhaps more of a players style similar to the TP CB or MC?

I hate to bring up other manufactures but certain ones have made the "claim of 15 yards longer" in fairway woods for awhile. I have played these clubs and have to agree to agree to a point. My question is if the rocketballz clubs will also be at least "15 yards longer" what other help for the average player besides the distance claim will the rocketballz fairway wood bring to the table. Would love if you could talk about this. Thanks

We have technology advancements this past decade or so that has changed the game. Lighter shafts that have better

stabilty, Weight movement in the heads, face angle and loft adjustments etc. 1)Did your R&D staff grow alot during those

years? 2) How many ideas (average) get tested per year that get rejected by the USGA or Taylormade.

3) Lastly, Do you test/poll every hadicap level when testing your new fairway models as you

are bringing your prototype to final product?

I gotta know, what was it like in the meetings when the name ROCKETBALLZ was proposed? Did people want to use a different name and if so what were the other suggestions? I'd love to know what it is like when naming a golf club. The story about the engineers writing rocketballz on the soles of the demos for the tour players was pretty neat.

I can't wait to try the RBZ! Help convert a loyal Callaway player!

with the adjustability of the new woods being pushed to the limit, how will taylormade outfit their retailers to help them assist golfers trying to find the perfect combination of loft, face angle, lie angle, and shaft? Also which driver is more suited for higher swing speed (around 125mph)? I love my taylormade r11 and I was hoping to find a driver that will add some forgiveness and keep the low spin rate.

It sounds like the RBZ line takes the place of the Burner line. The Burner drivers have gone from Burner to Tour Burner to Burner (09) to Burner Superfast to Burner Superfast 2.0.

Is the new naming scheme simply to avoid confusion by appending to the Burner name? (i.e., RBZ = Burner Superfast 3.0 or Burner RBZ, etc.)

I've gone from 540XD->R7->Burner (07)->Tour Burner. While I'm back to the R7, I'm due for a refresh. Would you suggest I look at the RBZ line or the R11s line next?

Any suggested starting point for someone still gaming 845s Silver Scots? I'm WAY overdue for an update of my irons, especially by Golfwrx standards.

With the "B" franchise continuing in popularity amoung the diehards interested in mimimal offset irons will we see a Rocketballz version? Camillos irons or something different, thanks. Oh yeah, long live the matte white, love it! Strong stuff...BB

The technology is these new clubs seems awesome. Why not try to make them more appealing to the eye. I am fine with the white finish but the extra graphics on the woods and the look of the irons seems to turn a lot of players off. Just seems to me that combining the technology along with something more aesthetically pleasing would target a larger number of players.

First I'd like to say well done to Sean Toulon, we played junior golf together many many years ago in Wisconsin.

The question that I have is: Taylormade has been a major innovator with enabling their woods to be adjustable from a loft and face angle perspective. There has been a very small ability to adjust the lie, but it impacted the loft. I would like to flatten the lie on my clubs significantly more, ie 4 to 5 degrees. Will Taylormade be offering new features to adjust the lie on their woods more than what has been available in the past?

What makes the RBZ fairway wood that much "hotter" than the Adams F11 that has a similar design in the pocket or slot or whatever we are calling it??

3 wood: Cobra F9 w/ HZRDUS Smoke
7 wood: Cobra F9 bent 2 degrees w/ Speeder 9.2

Wedges: Cleveland RTX4 raw

Is the Burner name going into hibernation, or just being relegated to a value brand?

Any info available on the second generation Penta, and wedge line?

We hear a version of the Penta will be four piece (Quattro?), and the new wedge abandons the xFT. Tell me more.

I am truly exited about the 2012 TMaG lineup! Following up on a stellar 2011 lineup there is quite a wave of continued interest in the marketplace for 2012. Kudos!

I am thinking of making a total switch to the Darkside. (Is that name even still applicable with the white woods?)
