Advice needed from the LADIES

Aggravated.... Uh huh

Bought the wife a set of mx-100's mens set. Great deal and had explained that a re-shaft was in order. I bow'ed down to her idea that she wanted to game the season with the standard L/L/L and flex..... Yeah great call I know. End of the season now and I want to get her set fit for her. Now a professional fitting just is'nt feasible at this time and I'm not a club builder, but I am compentent to do the job right. So I find the Adilia graphite shafts that seem perfect at $408.00 for the set.... Pink, yeah pink and am getting shot down over the color. Now it's the UST 65 Competions for $100.00. Can't find a review on those to save my life and would be more than willing to spend the extra $300 for what I believe would best fit and I could be wrong.
Help!!! Any suggestions on shaft options for the lady, and am I wrong to push a shaft she does'nt like the cosmetics of? Thanks in advance for any and all input... except for any replies that deem me a jerk....LOL

I'm only going to respond to your question about the pink shafts, I don't know enough about components to say what shaft is a good option for her (and frankly if you don't get her swing measured by a pro, you're shooting in the dark)...if she says no to pink, no matter if it is a great shaft, don't do it. It will annoy her every time she looks at those clubs and she won't swing well. Especially when you are just starting out, comfort/confidence in your clubs is a huge factor.
You're not a jerk, you are trying to do right by your wife, which is cool.

Wow… a woman who won't play pink shafts. I have a few of the Aldila pinkies and love 'em. Wish I could find a pink golf ball that fit my game. Love the look of the Pinnacles.

BTW… you can pick up a pretty accurate swing speed meter for about $50 or so (I use a Swing Speed Radar). Nice thing about owning one is you can take it out on the course with you and really see what you're swinging.

A swing speed meter! I could slap myself for not thinking about that first! Not impressed with the local pro's around here, except the resort, but pretty pricey. I'll check it out. Thanks alot!
