Hi Kraig,

Thanks for joining us. I really enjoy watching the LPGA golf tournaments. Is there any chance the players could discuss the kind of equipment they are playing and why from time to time?

Thanks and good luck in 2012. :-)

cheers --Sean
Sean, good to join in. And thanks for watching the tournaments..... ratings are up because of folks like you. And I'm big into the equipment too. I like your idea... we'll talk to Golf Channel about the idea of sharing more tools of the trade information for you.

Hope everyone will come out and join in the fun at a tournament location near you..... accessibility never an issue at the LPGA. Our players are closer than anyone to the fans. And check out our newest feature on the website.... "Its all about ME"... which allows one player a week to get a week to themselves on lpga.com.

About 15 minutes left in our "chat"... any more questions? Now's the time!
Any plans for Playing Lessons with the Pros? Now that GC has a different format with Brandel following players, this seems like way to let a player's mental game shine through. Or is this on hold until Brandel coughs up dinner money? :D
Working on a schedule to deliver players to Playing Lessons. This is a big year for Golf Channel with new shows on board in Prime-Time... we'll look to put our players in the best spots possible. Money is no issue for Brandel... its availability :)

I have another question Kraig. The US Open won by Paula Creamer at Oakmont was a great tournament. Is there talk of hosting anymore majors at classic venues like Oakmont in the future?
LPGA doesn't announce rotation of majors as far in advance as PGA TOUR... but Oakmont was a huge success and Paula couldn't have won on a better course. I'm all for (and I'm not alone) the best women in the game testing themselves on the best venues. Pinehurst is around the corner... men and women in back-to-back weeks. Can't wait.

TGC is beginning a new series, "On the range." Do you know if that will be PGA TOUR exclusively, or if LPGA players will be making appearances?
If I know Gary WIlliams at all (host of show).... LPGA will have a presence. This show has huge promise... and I have a meeting in the next 2 weeks with Golf Channel... this show will come up on the agenda. I don't know about exclusivity by PGA... but our tour has been used to busting through a few doors of late.... so why not crash this party too, right? i'm excited to see this show.

Any discussions about having LPGA available on Sirius/XM? I know a dedicated channel is not likely, but coverage on a sports channel would be great.
First things first... can we get Sirius to NOT cut out so often while I'm driving to Daytona Beach? Ok... now that that's out of the way...... I'd love for LPGA to have a channel. but I can tell you that there's HUGE interest from Sirius/XM to have our players, execs join Matt Adams, Brian Katrek and John Maginnes on their respective shows. And given that they've sked... we'll deliver. How does Mike Whan tomorrow morning at 8:15 sound? Done :) He joins Matt Adams.

Kraig,

This is Richard one of the two owners of GolfWRX. First thank you for taking to time to talk to the fans and specifically to GolfWRX LPGA fans. Secondly we would love to work closer with the LPGA to broaden the brand. We were brainstorming last week and came up with an idea to have weekly chats with LPGA players. Call it "Inside the LPGA ropes" or "Player of the Week". We could have one of your players on each week to talk about the life out on tour and competition.

Just a thought. Call anytime and lets try to work out something.

Jon Podany and I go way back. We went to the same High School. Say Hello for me.

I know, and I'm looking forward to that. I've always wanted to see the women play at Augusta, Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, Bethpage, and the like. :-)

Does the LPGA plan to do live and replay online streaming of golf events so more viewers can watch their tournaments?
There has been talk of a few holes.... a la Amen Corner from Masters. Live Streaming is a big part of the future... so stay tuned as to when it becomes a part of our future. Remember... nothing comes free.

Running out of time.... I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for taking part today. A pleasure to represent the LPGA and answer your questions. Bottom line, we're trying to do things that get noticed. Tournaments aren't the only thing that's going on.... and everyone here is dedicated to making the experience of the LPGA something that stays with you and helps you spread the news about the new things we've got going. Wait til you see our new Player Guide this year which debuts in March... wait til you see our new website which launches in March.... and wait until you hear about something that's coming your way on the LPGA schedule....
For now... follow our website, our Facebook page, our Twitter accounts.... and follow our players who are playing to make your notice and working to keep your interest. All the best!!!! Kraig

Hi Kraig,

You are a pleasure to watch on the Golf Channel, a good mix of professionalism and humour.

1) Has Frank Nobilo ever felt the wrath of Kann?

2) Does Nick Faldo's golf bag seriously read "Sir Nick Faldo" or was I imagining things when I saw him recently on a Lessons episode? On this note, why doesn't Faldo play Knight irons?

3) What would happen if Michael Breed drank a Red Bull?

4) Can I be your Administrative Assistant?
