Who is playing Mizuno Black Ni wedges?

They are one of the best looking wedges I have ever set my eyes on. Are they soft forgings or a nice black cast Stainless like the RAC Blacks? I prefer the SS, BTW.....

I believe that the Mizuno Black Ni weges are forged just like the rest of the MP wedges. I used to play with a guy who used them and he seem to like that them, but he switched them for CG 10's.

I'm currently playing with a Black Nickel in 51*. I love the wedge. I had been playing with a 52* Cleveland 900 in Gunmetal, and the feel is much better and the distance control for me is much better. With the Gunmetal sometimes on full shots it would hit and stop and other times it would hit and come back 15 or 20 feet.

All in all I'm a big fan of the Mizuno wedges as you can probably tell by my signature. I think they are great wedges and I'm surprised they don't get more play.

I have the 51* and love it. It is a very solid feeling wedge, and i really like the finish. I'm going to pick up the 56 and 60 too.

Copy and paste from another thread - I wrote this:

I own both the Vokey Tour Chrome 52/56 and Vokey Spin Milled 60 and a set of the Mizuno MP T Black Nickel 51/56/60 and I honestly can say that I love both wedges very much - the Vokey are a bit more head heavy, the Mizzies have a nice tear shaped face and the grooves on my Mp T's spin almost as much as my Spin Milled - definitely more than my standard Vokey Tour Chrome.

I would rank them 10/10 both sets - so it's up to you to decide what to go for. You cant' go wrong with either set

The Vokey's are cast, the MP T's are forged.
