Surprising to see him playing those irons...would like to see what his fway woods and driver setup is. From the above post looks like he has the 1300ss in the bag. Hey good for him playing what he likes best, hope Kenny has a great year.

Some of you guys are real club SNOBS.

:clapping::clapping::clapping:

I have hit those irons and although they may not look pretty they work very well.

I had a set and have regretted selling them since the day after I sold them.

I am now playing Epon 702's and although I like them I still miss the Redline irons.

I take my hat off to him for playing these irons and i hope that he has a great year on the Senior Tour.

Npbody cared too much when freddie Couples played Lynx!

Redline...tour issue
Redline TP B's, no offset with tour only grind.

willpeoples - where you at on this one?!!
Actually there is an offset. Perry has always played an offset iron on tour. When he played the R7s and the R9s they were the "common" club and not the TP nor the "B".

In the bag: Playing --- TaylorMade  Qi 10 (core) driver w/Fujikura Ventus Blue 6S. 3wd TM (OG) SIM (special smaller tour only head, same that TW was playing prior to the '24 Genesis approx 160cc) @ 15.*) with Fujikura Ventus 7-S.  5 wd TM SIM w/Fujikura Speeder 857TR-S (Japan made)

HyBrids-Cleveland Hi-Bore #1 (16* plays like 2-Iron) W/Fuji-S Tipped 1/2".  SIM Max #4 (set @ 21.5* w/ Fuji Atmos HB8 9S.  IRONS:  TM M3 4i (2*weak)w SteelFiber i95-S,  P790 3, 5-PW,  w/Fuji Pro 95i-S. SW TM MG4  54*/11 bent to 53*/10 w/ Precision Rifle 6.0-S. LW TaylorMade Hi Toe 3, 58/10 w/Modus Tour 105 Stiff. Putter-- BOBBY GRACE Night&Day-Custom, "M.Coz-Bandsaw Prototype". Ball 2022 TaylorMade Tour Response
Alternating clubs: the 5wd, TM Hybrid Stealth 2+ #2, 3Iron, depending on what part of the country, course, climate, and conditions.

Well said. I Love my CB2`s. I have hit this iron on the course and even though it may look ugly too
some of you. This club does perform very well.
I see a few guys on tour playing Ping G15 and G20 irons and yes Freddie did play Lynx irons that were
no where near a tour issue club. Play what you LIKE and what Works for you.
I`m sure Mr KP can hit a blade with the best of them but I`m sure he has a lot more confidence in
the game improvement club.

I know ugly vs. pretty/handsome is subjective and personal, but those clubs are hardly ugly by what's on the market today. If those said ping instead of adams, half this board would be all over them. Those clubs are a slightly better looking than the G15/G20. Those clubs look like most things clubs these days other than a mizuno or titleist blade. The taylor made clubs kenny used to play- way uglier. Anyone here have an R11 driver? Way uglier than those adams redlines.

DISGUSTING!!!!!!! SO SO SAD
Disgusting looking Lynx irons made Fred Couples #1 in the world.
Disgusting looking Ping ZING 2 irons made Lee Westwood win several
European Tour events.
Hmmm. Disgusting works. That why they make them.

My thoughts exactly! SHOVELS...
"Where did that come from? I feel young again...". Stick that commercial where the sun don't shine Perry. SELL-OUT

I used to love Adams, but this is an abomination.

That bag is embarrassing! I wonder what brand his driver is, Spalding? But hey, if he hits it straight, who cares? My brother has a 1980's women's wedge in his bag. He's lights out with it.

I just hope Kenny got a good discount in the clearance section of TGW.
its only embarrassing to the hacks on wrx who play blades in x flex and have the game of a 18 handicapper...

kenny perry makes millions...i think he can hit whatever he wants
Isn't that the truth........ All these guys who hack around the golf course with their pretty clubs talking about a guy who makes millions and could wax anyone on here......

When your income depends on it, it takes on a whole new level ( which no one here has clue what that's like) They don't give a crap what they are, people on here that's all they care about....

Shut people here can't even pick their own clubs...... 15,000 threads on " what iron should I buy" ........ From peoe they don't even know!!.... Lol

When you can pick out your own sticks, shafts, and everything else you ask the rest of the board to do for you and you can smoke perry with your beautiful blades that you can't even hit than you can fire away at him.....

I regripped his clubs for him last week, and he is playing the 1200ss fairway woods. He said the F12 goes too far for him. On a side note, he is one hell of a guy. Crazy nice and down to earth.

Does he still play Midsize tour wrap? how much tape?

Switched to Midsized Multi-Compound White/Black with one wrap of tape.

I may be missing something here, but Kenny is a "SELL-OUT" why? That commercial is no different from all the TM one's with people hitting clubs they don't play and being amazed at how great it is. Or how about Els in the Callaway commercial hitting the RAZR irons that he doesn't play?

I'm glad he plays what he wants. I always found it interesting that he played the r7 Taper Tours since they were more chunky than what I expected to see a pro playing. Based on the fact that he's played "GI" irons before, I doubt Adams is telling him what to play by him playing these. Honestly, I don't think they look all that bad. And what's so bad about the bag? It's black and red and says Adams from what we can even see of it in these pics.

Oh, and I love the looks of the putter. Any better pics?

I'd play them if I shot his scores.. Meaning I would play anything if it would gve me wins on the PGA TOUR.. Not the local club championships! Like it has been said before, he would kick any one of our a$$e$ with prett much any set I'm sure. Good for him for playing what works and not what's "pretty". Loving the cg14's!!!
+1 !!! I love to hear the ho's sound off!

I don't know much about the redline, but I know Adams makes a killer iron in the CB series. And the custom fitters are saying nobody beats Adams in the technology and innovation department. If I dumped my I15's today, it would probably be for a CB1/CB2 set.

And I've heard they are buying more player endorsements this year (which still makes them PALE in comparison to - uh - uh - I forget - oh, y'know, that company that keeps painting their old designs white to sell 'em to internet golfers????)

-- hmmm, maybe Perry is smarter than us????

Well I am not a fan of Kenny Perry but these are not by far the worst looking irons out there. I don't know what that finish is on them but I dare say it looks just as good as any raw or caswell blackened iron set I have seen. The cambered sole looks easy to hit out of any lie and the way they neck down at the heel they look better than the AP2's. That's just my opinion and until I see a set of these up close and in person I can't rip these clubs. Now if Kenny had pimped these out with white ferrules and white Iomic's and the badges were not in there would he be taking less heat than is this right now?

I think the badge is a bit gaudy but the rest of the iron is perfectly fine for a GI/SGI iron.

And friends, it's OK to poke fun at this bag. It IS out there for a professional. That doesn't mean that everyone on here isn't fully aware that Kenny Perry would smoke everyone on here.

What is happening around here? People getting bent out of shape because of Kenny Perry's WITB, Tigers putter grip, etc. etc. Off season pent up aggression?

Those irons remind me of the older Callaway X series in terms of shape and finish for some reason.

I'm glad three are so many Kenny supporters out there. He seems like a great guy and I'm sure he's one h$ll of a model American... But I think you guys are missing the point of what people are saying here:

Yes he is on the PGA tour.

And:

Yes I am in an office

But:

Yes those irons are ugly.

And:

Yes they are drastically different than the blades most tour players are using.

We get it. He hits them well and therefore plays them... but they are still ugly clubs, that no other PGA tour player is playing. So who cares if I am an 3,8,12,15, or 100 handicap? Who cares what clubs make ME feel good when I play. Score is all relative... enjoyment is not. Let us enjoy golf our way... I think we deserve that much even though we don't have our names on the back of our bags.

You are in the wrong forum if you don't get that or if you are offended when we ask others for help when picking an iron. Sorry for not having 18+ tour vans sitting two feet away from me with thousands of head, shaft, loft, lie, flex, swing weight, etc...all with professional fitters climbing over each other to get me my ideal set up.

We like the game, we like the equipment...and for the record we also think a rusty wedge with lead tape on the back is a gorgeous club. The fact of the matter is we are interested in Kenny's bag, because it's not your typical touring pro's bag. Get it?
