It was easy to get hold of any Maruman clubs at the time aound late 80-90s . I was the pro at Bolton muni and we did the main account selling for Maruman . Mike Chapman was the boss over Maruman in this country a very nice guy and his son he was down in Reading . It was a struggle for them to keep going at the time and we had to help the firm out by moving them through the buying groups big time . We got to eat at the Open many times with Woosnam . Never used the clubs myself at the time i was a TP9 man.

I have been looking (in vain) for information on the Conductor Pro muscle back pictured in "The Gachet's" post above.

Does anyone know what year this model was produced, were they too Miura forged and where on the internet we might find the specifications?

Thank you.

I emailed Maruman a couple of years ago looking for the specs on my 'Curtis Strange' blades and this is what I received.
Curtis Strange was also a Maruman staff player in the early 90's, he had a limited edition set produced in the U.S. This was a nice set of irons with a soft feel.
I still play the 3-PW (i took the 2 iron out of the bag a few years ago)
Just acquired these and got done testing at range. Clubs made specifically for Woosie, Miura designed and forged w/ S400 U shafts. Bitchin sticks.
S400 U shafts are of tapered variety and it appears they have an extra 1/2" of taper to standard but OAL of shafts are standard. Heads are rather tall faced 2mm, higher than standard Maruman's of that era. Muscle pad is rather high too, 5mm higher than CS-1's I also own. Loft wise? It appears to me they are of standard 48*-28*, PW-#5 standard lofts. Gross weight is heavy but not overly (briefly sampled #3 & #8), what I do notice is that increments from club to club nets approximately 1 oz differential, where most retail sticks are 2 oz. I have a dozen sets of blades and this is only the 3rd set that are like this. The other two are, Greg Norman Signatures and Titleist 681's which (both) happen to be my favorites. The CS-1's are of 2 oz differential. Maruman's that I have hit from this era (3) all tend to have a low launch characteristic, more so than most traditional irons. These are no different but the apparent soft stepping makes these easy to launch and hits the same "window" I see with the Mac Cobra's that have standard S300 U. Great feeling sticks and long.I may bag them this weekend.

I own a number of Woosie's clubs - woods and wedges - Marumans and other brands.

They all have very flat lies - more than 2* flat, which is what I personally play.

All the Maruman clubs are stamped with his name.
