Callaway Back Ups Updated 4/05/06

Here are a few Pic's of the Callaway Day Bag.

Driver: FT-3 Tour 9.5 W/ Fit On-11 95
3Wood: Big Bertha 15* W/ 6.5 Rifle
Hybrid: Heavenwood 2H W/ 6.5 Rifle
Irons: X-Tour 2-PW
Wedges: X-Tour 52*, 58* MD
Putter: Odyssey White Hot #5 33"


**I just recieved my Fusion Tour 15* w/ GD YS-9.1 SX Flex, I also picked up a production 15* to compare. I will try to give a comparison.

JHR...another fine set up. Your back up bags could be anyone else's regular bag! I love those X Tours. I was just looking at a set the other day again and just fighting with myself not to buy them. That goodness I resisted for once.

can you get a closeup of the putters without the headcovers on? Thats a nice collection you got going. Plus your backup set is way better than my primary set.

Putter Pic's. I really like the Del-Mar 3.5, I have a ProPlatinum(production) the Oil Can (Tour W/ Initials-Primary) SSS Tour, and 3XB Japanese. The others are all production, NewPort Beach, Red X, Cra-ze, Odyssey White Hot #5, Futura, Futura Phantom, not pictured Futura Phantom 2. I prefer the mallet style putters.

Nice putters JHR. They are so clean and pristene like the rest of your "back-ups", do you ever get the chance to use them? :busted_cop:

I use the Oil Can, that one is my Primary putter, I will use the Odyssey when I use my Callaway bag, I never play with a mixed bag, I must play one brand, from the ball to the driver, messed up huh?

JHR...I used to be like that with the one brand and matching bag. My ho-ing was nuts back then. I love your set ups though. It must be a hard decision picking out the bag for the day!

I usually go with a Titleist Line up, My first WITB, I will try different wedges or a fairway wood, sometimes the 2iron, sometimes a 503H, but I bought the X-Tours and had the FT so I have been using the Cally bag, but I have sucked my last 2 rounds out with them, so next week its back to Titleist. I will only take the other bags if I get something new from that company, I used the TM stuff after I got my new TP Rescue, R7 fairway and TP R5, I hated them all and so the TM bag goes back to the corner. I really don't even like TaylorMade stuff but I am such a ho as you guys call it, I have to buy and try everything they come out with. I primarily stay with those 3 co.'s.

No cleveland or Nike??? Yum-yum

I just broke down and picked up a Cleveland Tour 460 Comp. I will be trying that this week and will update my primary WITB. I have never been a fan of the nike stuff, I had the Forged Blades when they first came out, but I quickly parted ways with them, I will buy their shoes but thats it.

Nice X's. I'm really hoping callaway comes out with a 06 version of the xtour, but I doubt they will. I'd love to get a set with a slighly thiner top line and sole. I've hit these once outdoors and really liked them a lot. I've played Callaway for the last 9 years (not including this year) and those clubs are currently growing on me big time.
