Exactly what was childish.. I didn't say all, I said some.. hell some adults are just as bad. I stated facts as I see it. Childish is your the lack of reading comprehension, do not blame me for that. :rolleyes:

I think the reason, why you think so many juniors behave inapropriately is that you only remember the ones who misbehaved and forget about the ones who behaved as that was just "normal"!

 

Also, the behaviour of juniors will probably be very different at different clubs.

Rudeness is not age dependent.

Some people feel a right of entitlement some based on age (and that works for both young and old), some on social standing or gender or race etc. None of this is right. I have seen young golfers perform badly but I will say that the worst display I have seen on a golf course was by middle aged men. I will golf along side of anyone that has a passion for the game. This is how we make golf friends. Some of the best rounds I have play were with people from another country that spoke no English but we all had a love of golf and did not need to converse. Simply treat people like you want to be treated, even if they do not treat you the same way. As Joe Walsh coach of the 49ers said to Joe Montana "Act like you've been here before"

Hey, im 15 and dont belong to a club but play at mainly one course.I have really seen some bad juniors at my home course, not skill wise but respect wise. It really tarnished it for the rest of us. I can respect you if your game is bad but you still have a good attitude, i can't respect you if you are rude, it pisses me off.

One time me and my dad were playing one evening and we saw some bags beside the green on a par three. We hit because did not see anyone in sight. As we were walking up to the green two teenagers came out of the woods with their shirts off wrapped around their heads and fooling around. Can you believe someone could be such an idiot.

These are the people who screw everything up for the rest of us, so i understand that people get mean, they should, but once they understand that your not a jackass then they should respect you.

If anyone else has any stories please tell.

our school course was a pvt. club where the average age was 78, $40,000 buy in

 

the vast majority of them were fine, however there were more than a few who hated us being there. hearing old people yelling "why don't you just go smoke like normal kids?", makes hitting a high draw around 300 even better
