Driver swing speed versus ball compression curve?

Anyone know of one that exists?

We all know that slow swings need low compression balls to compress and get more distance and fast swings need harder balls to do the same.

Haven't seen a chart that demonstrates for each mph swing what is the optimal ball compression.

Using 45 compression for pre-junior below 70mph chs. Above 70mph moves up to maybe 70 compression. I know tour pros with 120+ use prov1x and equivalent. Perhaps 105-115 use prov1 and equivalent.
But there is a big gap in between.

Curiuos to see the compression vs chs mapping or someones best guest.

Swing speed is not the only variable that effects how a ball is compressed. Angle of attack would probably be the next most important variable. Swing speeds being equal, a steeper angle of attack will be able to compress the ball more than a shallower angle of attack. There are other variables on top of those that could effect compression/energy transfer results, so I don't think you will be able to find an accurate rendering of what you are looking for.

My recommendation is to find a benchmark ball that you can compare to others in order to find a compression range that works best for your swing. Below is also a good resource to compare compression/cover hardness for various balls.

i was just looking for general averages:

45 compresion < 65 mph
55 compression 65-75mph
65 compression 75-85mph
75 compression 85-95mph
85 compression 95-100
95 compression 105-110+

there's got to be a ball mfr rep out there that his the general averages as you walk up driver speed. thanks.

The theory is to use a ball with overall compression rating 5-10 below driver SS. EG...90mph SS...80-85 compression ball. So as far as this theory goes your above chart is pretty good.
