Anyone out there know anything about these balls, i'm assuming they are decent as they are made by Bridgestone, thanks in advance. :fool:

I use them amd always have used Tourstage balls. I personally think that its ALOT better than the Pro V1's. I think you can control your spin rates more than the V1 and it consistently goes longer for me. I think the reason why pros use Pro V1's more than any other is because most tour pros use a Taylormade Driver. I went to the biggest and the main Taylormade factory in carlsbad and had a chance to look inside the place (IT WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT "WONDERLAND") and they told me that they test every single driver they make with a Pro V1 ball because if the driver matches with the ball that everyone uses they most likely use something it matches. Thats why no one uses a Nike or Bridgestone balls with a TM driver.

 

Theres three models of Tourstage balls. X-01s (soft), X-01 and the X-01H (hard). I change what ever ball depending on the condition. X-01H which has the hardest compression out of the three is the same as the Bridgestone Tour B330 but unfortunatley the X-01s and the X-01 which are both great balls as well aren't on the US market.

These balls (X01 and X01S) have been out in the market for almost 2 years now and i have yet to find balls that play better for my game. I play the X01 almost exclusively and the X01s and X01H in softer conditions. No ball plays like the X01. The B330 Tour performs like the X01H but the B330S (despite the seeming implications that the X01S is this ball) is different from any of the X01 variations. The dimple pattern/number of dimples launch it differently. I have yet to put the Super Newing iV330 in play (This could be the B330S). I only have one sleeve so I will wait for better conditions to give it a good run.

 

Btw I use mainly TM drivers??? My gamer now is a R7 TP/Japan Diamana 73xct and before that I played a 580XD Tour/Fuji Six. Maybe if I switch to a Pro V I'll gain the 10 yards that I seemed to have lost from 2 years ago. :fool:

Wow!!! I just bought a dozen each of the X01 and the X01S. I've never hit a ball that spins this much, it's freakish. I had 2 approach rip back off the green yesterday, that just doesn't happen for me!!!

They have a nice flight through the air and feel great off the clubface, even the putter. Now I just have too somehow source some more of them!!!!
