TP5 Distance gain?

I'm a big guy, 6'4" and I swing hard. So yes these are real distance numbers and no they do not make me a great golfer by any stretch. That said...

I recently purchased the new TP5 since I heard the new changes were exactly what I was looking for. I typically play tour level low spin balls, ProV1x, B330, Srixon XV...etc. I've never cared which one I purchased because they all played and felt relatively similar for me. The TP5 is a different story though. I've played two full rounds with them and I'm a solid 10 yards longer with every club than I have ever been. I haven't been working out more, haven't changed my swing, no equipment changes...just the ball.

The very first hole I typically hit my stock 3 iron which is 220ish. TP5...235. Ok freak swing.

Second hole is a 5 iron. Never played a different club into this par 3. Always gets me tot he center of the green...Not today air mailed the green, hit it about 210.

Third hole I'm 135 out uphill into the wind. I would normally take a bit off a 9 iron here with the uphill and wind, but my buddy goes, may as well step on the PW the way you are hitting it today...and I put that 15 yards over the pin.

Finally made the adjustment after this and played a club less into everything. Played another round yesterday and took a club less the whole day and was spot on. So my basic question here is has anyone else noticed a massive distance gain like this with the TP5 or does this ball suit my swing that well?

My distances were pretty much identical to the original Penta but my swing speed is lower than yours judging by your distances.
I recently tested against the Hex Black Tour

The odd thing is I was shorter with the old Penta than the typical balls I played. The old Penta spun way too much for me. It played more like a ProV1 than a ProV1x. The whole reason I decided to test the TP5 was because I heard they decreased the amount of dimples on the cover and changed something in one of the layers to decrease spin on longer shots especially the driver. The TP5 plays very similar spin wise to the balls I was playing previously. I guess I just found the winner for me.

I find the TP5 to be a solid 5 to 8 yards longer with driver and 4 wood than original Penta. However I don't see much difference in distance through the rest of the bag.

I just tried a round with the tp5 yesterday, oddly enough I lost distance on driver...at least 10 to 15 yards...irons were a bit longer maybe 5-7 yards and stuck better on the greens or a bit more back spin on mid/short irons...

For reference I was playing the old ldp black until I ran out and can't find them anymore before that pro v1x.

I agree to an extent,
Driver-10-20m extra and straighter. Flys high and long.
Irons- 5-10m more control great in the wind.
Wedges- not noticed much change except for feel, spin and control is definitely better.

Definitely my new ball.
