Bridgestone Tour B330

New convert here. Played Pro V1x for a year or two. Found boxes of B330's at Target for $25.00. Decided to try. I don't plan on going back to the Titliest any time soon. B330 has a slightly lower flight than the "x" and is 5-10 yards longer. Just the right amount of spin off the irons and a perfect amount around the greens. I'm going back to Target and cleaning them out!!

We're talking about the sound and feel off the putter face. Your putter has a urethane insert which eliminates that problem - insert putters make range balls feel soft.

 

But off my Redwood and Bettinardi, the B330 cover feels very firm.

Best ball I've found. And I've had the ProV1x covers smear sooner then these.

I hear and echo all the shredding issue shere. I have never had a decent ball be as durable as the Pro V1x. I either lose them or smoke a cart path before any marks get on them from my wedges. Even after hitting cart paths or trees, the Pro V1x is wayyyy better than any ball I have tried (Cally HX Tour among many others). I kept trying to find a cheaper ball that had the distance and feel of the Pro V1x but they all seem to get marks even from a simple wedge shot and I am no master "pincher" of the golf ball so I do not get as much spin as some.

 

That said, the Pro V1 spins too much for me. the V1x hops and stops and maybe comes back a small bit which is perfet for me. I do not have the refined game to choose to land 5 yards past the pin and spin it back to the hole. If i had that accurate control of my distances, I would not be the index I am.

Longer than most balls by a club, maybe a half a club on the Pro V1X. But it does scuff. I like the ball because it really jumps off the driver and irons, but for the price, I think you should be able to get more than 9 holes out of it. Why don't they put the Urethane cover from the E5+ on the B330, then you would have something. The e5+ is virturally indestructable, and, at nearly half the price of B330 a real deal. Still, when a B330 is "flushed" and compressed completely the results are spectacular. The 330S does not satisfy like the 330 off the tee. Everyday ball the e5+. Tournament ball B330. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Good ball and you can find them on sale alot more often than the ProV's.

I love this ball, I have been playing it for a while, though I had a hard time deciding between this and the B330S, so I did the Bridgestone Challenge, found I was compressing the B330S too much, the B330 was perfect for me.

It's alright IMO.

 

The B330 has pretty nice spin and good distance.

 

I'm still sticking with the Pro-V1x's though.

Bridgestone B330 is extremely long! I got golf ball fitted at Golf Galaxy in North Carolina and my ball speed was 164.0 MPH, 15.7 degree launch angle, and 3,503 RPM spin. The pro evaluating my swing called me a "high spin, high speed" player. The two longest balls for me were the Callaway tour ix (#1) followed closely by the Bridgestone B330. I play with the Callaway because I think it is more durable than the Bridgestone, but both are great golf balls!

Try the RXS......You may be surprised. New one coming out soon in the e series with dual dimple design like the TF DD2.

Switched to the B330 and B330-S, and the Pro V1's were knocked out of the bag. B330 may be the best ball I've played, really liking this thing.
