I know this is an old post but that's the feeling I have when I'm using it. I had one awhile ago but it was the wrong length and lie. I just got another one a week ago with my spec's based on "Geoff Mangum" theory. I'm 5'6" and my putter is 31" with a 72.5 lie and it feels sweet.

100% agree. I'm 5'7" and mine is 31.5. The guy that made mine had to ask me twice because it was the shortest putter he had ever built.

I went through the same drill - fitter made sure before he built. Actually, I was supposed to be at 30.5" but I gave myself an extra 1/2".

I was about ready to order a Bettinardi Sig Model 3 when I stumbled upon this putter. I was quoted 495 by Bettinardi. How much does this putter run? Best place to buy? Several have mentioned weight...is this a heavier putter; I've grown accustom to my old cut down Wilson 8802, which is pretty light.

Thanks for the info...

You're looking at about $400 - don't have a place for recommendation. You might find it cheaper but you'll have to do some searching - I got mine brand new with my spec's for $349 total. It's pretty heavy and certainly will be noticeable compared to your 8802.

I would talk to playersedge on this site, he's an authorized Miura dealer, you probably could get it for around 350 built. Like Buzz said its definitely heavier than your 8802, but not as heavy as say a heavyputter. Its a different kind of heavy because the head is smaller, if that makes sense. I would call it more like "solid" rather than "heavy". Hope that helps.

Holy Cow!!!!!!!!
Damn BK, that was above and beyond. I cannot thank you enough. I'm starting my search now. Curious, what shaft did you go with, and does that ferrule an extra request upon build usually?

I have the UST frequency filter in both of mine. Pretty awesome

I went with the heaviest shaft (XXIP-D2 model I believe) based on my fitter's recommendation since my putter length is 31".

I didn't know that it was coming with a ferrule - I didn't request it but it looks fine. I've also seen the putters without them and that looks good too. I guess it comes down to what you want and I hope you find a good deal out there. Be patient and you'll find the right price. As I mentioned earlier, I paid $349 for mine which I got off ebay. The gentleman's company is http://www.vonsgolf.com/. I'd check with him about prices on one - send him a email and see what the best deal he can offer ya.

My daughter and I are local to Von's Golf and got both our KM 350 putters there. We both got ferrules to match our irons and grips. It's interesting that the lefty version is different.
Yeah I've seen those posted here before - they look sweet. Down the road, I'm sure I'll do the white ferrule also.

I dont know if there is any truth to this but I have heard that the white ferrules, while they look sweet, can be very distracting when lining up the ball because they are both white and your eyes will have trouble focusing. Just a thought, I'm sure once you get used to it, its not a problem.

I had one of these for a couple of years - it is a great feeling putter and putts an amazing roll on the ball. The only reason I moved it on was the head weight, at 350g and a playing length of 36" it just was too heavy for my natural rhythm and I couldn't get any consistency with it. I'm much better with a putter around the 330g mark playing it at 36". I only wish I wasn't so tall and then I wouldn't have need to get rid of it.

Trying to get one of these or an edel. Anyone have any thoughts on either?
Two different animals...an Edel is more about the custom fitting process and then you get a putter that meets your exact specs coming out of the fitting, so head, neck, swing weight, alignment aids, loft, length, etc are all customized to you based on your optics and individual swing pattern. So, you may not want to buy an Edel used off Ebay for example because youre basically buying a putter that was spec'd for someone else.

The 350, while it can be customized to some degree is a bit more "off the shelf". There is no Edel head that even looks close to the 350 head and I can tell you from personal experience that the 350 is one terrific putter and has a very unique soft feel to it.

I currently own the 350 and really love the thing. Just recently went for an Edel fitting which taught me an awful lot about putting and my new putter should arrive some time this week. The Edel also comes with 3 different weight settings for fast medium or slower greens.

Anyone I talk to about an Edel Is estatic about their choice and anyone who owns a 350 feels like they're in putter heaven, but two very different putters.

My thoughts?

Meh~

Though I didn’t pay full retail for mine, I found it grossly over priced and highly over rated.

Between the two, the 008 all day every day 7/365~

If you’re lookin at the 350, you owe it to yourself to look at and roll the 008

Then you tell me?

As always, just my .03 worth

Have a great week Gents?
