KBS Tour+ is the stock shaft. (KBS Tour + is weight sorted)

man I hate when irons don't come with s300 as stock shafts.

You can get them with S300 shafts with no up charge.

Yep I know but I would have to order them instead of just being able to go to golfsmith or golf town or wherever and try them off the rack.

Obvious? You could say the same thing about a number of muscle back blades. The cobra has a thicker sole and muscle pad and is different in shape. The top line is a little heavier to offset the thicker sole. This keeps the COG from getting too low.

Yup. A blade is a blade. There may be little differences here and there but nothing major.

Demo specialists will have a full kit. Hopefully there will be a demo day near you.

... Cobra just branched off from Titleist so their R&D was the same until last year. It does not surprise me that Cobra has taken the technology of the AP2 and made their own iron with what they learned. Hitting it at the PGA Show was a joy. It looks awesome at address and the feel is very dense and similar to any forged cb I have hit.

... For those of you bemoaning the orange in the cavity, it gets worse. The grips are bright orange too. Of course I am in the camp of who cares what the back of an iron looks like as long as it performs and looks good to my eye at address. But after talking to so many VPs of Marketing, getting your product on the shelves and recognizable on the course is a major concern. Several classy forged cb designs have died on the shelf, Bridgestone and the original Cobra CB come to mind. Retailers said they needed color and flash appeal. I stopped caring about the look on the sole or the back a long time ago when it became clear understated beauty was a thing of the past...

I hit these at GOLFEST in tampa FL......wow i was very impressed, i went back an hour later just to make sure i wasn't just "in the groove" or something. I am seriously shopping for a new set of irons, and i hit at least 15 different sets at this show. The most impressive irons at the show were these AMP forged and the Exotics CU irons. Both of these sets had a smooth soft feel and both were easy to work both ways, high and low.... I tried to buy the AMP forged from the guys in the booth but no deal...i have to wait till they come out...bummer

Watched the video for these on Cobra's site. They are packed with as much technology as the AP2 712 or i20. Looking forward to trying these as the SS Forged is my all time favorite iron.

I hit them at the PGA Superstore (scottsdale) and they feel really solid. Soft feeling forged feel, but really long. They were pretty low spin (KBS S+) for me as well, so I'm thinking about picking them up... but just ordered: Nakashimas with Steelfibers, i20s with Steelfibers, and Nike VR_S forged. I'll see if one of those works out (I currently play between my r11s, Exotics CUs and I20s with KBS tour).

I don't love the orange, but i did really love the feel and ball flight/spin, low dispersion and length of these AMP Forged irons (btw, i don't like the AP2s for some reason, just don't hit them that well, and really liked these even though standing over them they look similar to AP2s).
