Funny, I just recently put back in my 15° V Steel just because it's summer and come to see here's a thread on them.

Great FW's- probably TM's best. I also like the 300Tour which gets bag time in the colder weather months, being a 17° YS 6 combo.

Both are solid dependable clubs.

Kai'li 70 has treated me very well. A nice high but flat ball flight.

Just put a tour issue (actual loft 17*) paint break with proforce V2 95 stiff together and results thus far are more than promising.

I've got an old "The One" 85g Aldila shaft in my TS and I've gotten so many compliments on how awesome this clubs plays and sounds.

Have a 300 series 7 wood that hits easier and further than most 5 woods I have tried (Ping, other TM models, Cobra, etc). So knew TM was on to something w that series of fw and wanted to find a 300 3 and 5.

After reading the threads here that rate the vsteel as the best TM fw ever by many, I suspected the vsteel had the same design strengths. They do and more. It is almost mind boggling how high and long you can hit these clubs w next to no effort.

I was literally saying 'holy sh*t' to myself at the range.

I have had played two 3 woods and a 5 wood over the last couple of years. I just purchased a 13* T/S and I am ready to unleash it's fury! But before I could do that I had to add some flavor. Custom work done by JG Golf.

Is that an I20? Nope

I have a 15* head only that I planned on shafting and maybe using. Don't think I will though so if anyone is interested shoot me a pm. I still have the reg flex steel shaft too if anyone wants it. Head is MINT.

Used to be lots of love for the 200 series fairways including the tour issues-still wonder which is better.

Just discovered this thread, I've had the 3 wood for 2-3 years now and its the only wood/hybrid that has never left the bag. Currently has the stock shaft, but I'm looking to reshaft it, either with a UST Proforce a friend has or something else depending on the price

Is that a PVD finish on the V-Steel? Looks sick. Where is JG golf and how much did it cost for the refinish?

TP that is a powder coat. JG Golf is in Eugene, OR and is a company that I am starting. I'm still testing different things to find out what works, what doesn't and the durability of the coatings. When I get that figured out I will put together a website and stuff.

Love this club! Looking for a 5 wood now, but want the same shaft, which is proving difficult.

I've still got my 18* V Steel 5W w/ DG X100 steel shaft, its a guaranteed fairway finder...i rotate it in and out with my 20* Adams hybrid depending on the course...I've also got TM 200 series 3W and 5W in the closet...great clubs

Just threw in an epic fw in my 3 wood.... Wow, so much better than stock graphite!!! Will definitely hold on to this...

Has anyone tried Blueboard shaft with these heads? I got a 4W off ebay but the steel shaft is not working for me. I can take the BB out of my 3W and put it in this 4W but wanted to see if anyone as tried that combo.

Also, what are cheap shaft options that would go well with this head?

I have the kai'li in my 4 wood and absolute love it. Good high ball flight that does not balloon. I can turn it over when i have to and it is great out of any lie. I think the BB/V-steel combo would be awesome. I am putting an nv in a 7 wood now, and i'll give you some feedback when i get it back from the builder.

I game a 3W V-steel with a 73 x5ct BB and it is a total fairway finder.

Just picked up a v steel 3 wood in 9/10 condition. Im either going to put in an awesome shaft $$$ or a steel shaft. My irons are dgs300 but i thought i may put an x100 or kbs tour x (black nickel). After that all i need to do is pick out an iliac head cover.

the Epic Fairway is a great shaft for very little cash! I think it is a great combo and is kind of like having a steel shaft in but even better!!!!!

Does the Epic play to flex?
I am in between regular and stiff. Would it be better to get a regular and tip or get a stiff and dont tip?

I think either way would work fine. But you might be better off tipping the Regular. The epic is a little stiffer than most.
