I wouldn't put it past TaylorMade to bring it retail next week and call it "TaylorMade Surge" after Sergio Garcia
If they did, it would be the first TM driver in the bag since the 510DF/TP. I wouldn't think twice

Here are some comparison pictures with tour issue R11s. The face of the V3 is similar in height but the width is bit (0.6 cm) smaller than the regular R11s. Also the V3 is smaller from front to back and side to side by 0.5 cm than regular R11s.

Still think the 425 was the best driver they made .Wish they would combine r11 technology in a 425cc head would be awsome.

R11s V2 is 420cc I believe.

.83 cor in the 425? 425 w/ FCT tech, interchangable shafts. Be interesting to put both toe to toe with the same shaft 425 vs r11s v3 or v2

That head looks awesome/ nasty! If I only had small mortgage payment to drop on a club. I agree with the others, would nice to have the option of 400 to 425 cc offering without costing a fortune

What's are the exact specs of the head? Loft lie etc

This is the one Sergio is using I am pretty sure. When I was watching him hit driver at the Bridgestone I couldn't believe how small his driver looked to my eye and then I believe Willpeoples made a post about this version shortly after that

At 42.5 inches no less. Heard Costas talking about the length during the broadcast.

Um.... Really hot 2 wood?

Not a bad idea.

It is nice but not worth near what the street price will be. IMO, they make it for the van we should be able to order one. Call it selfish, but that's what I think anyway. Also, still not nuts or buy into the big red plate.

Troy Matteson is gaming one, been in the bag since early July. I spoke with his caddy Pat Sherry, he said Troy loves it because he is able to work the ball again. A lot of the holes on tour require a shape to stay in the fairway. His fairways hit percentage isn't perfect, but Pat also said Troy is trying to hit it in the first cut on the shorter holes to knock the spin off his wedge approaches to control the distance better. He was on 59 watch not to long ago at the John Deere. Thought this was worth a post, Keep it up this site is great!

Not to mention the 5,546,789 settings. That whizzy shizzy makes me dizzy. Adjust your driver with ball position and set up. Sheesh......

I believe every OEM should release stuff like this on a limited basis in select areas. They have zero to lose. Plenty of good golfers do not want to hit a boot tied into the end of a fishing pole. They would love the option of a 380CC head. In fact, there are plenty of big box stores that offer high end customized options as it pertains to shafts, grips, etc. So why not offer this head size at an upcharge? What is the benefit of not doing so?

A lot cheaper than other prices advertised!

Notice it says 400cc

So is the V3 380cc as we've been lead to believe on here or is it 400cc as per the BSG eBay ad?

Its 390, it was confirmed to me today. I dont think I would believe anything BSG says... haha.
So the latest "white head" is exactly the same size as the R510-TP...Gee what a coincidence! Of course the R510-TP set such a high standard that one has to wonder if this new "white" model could possibly be equal, much less better. I really have my doubts since adding adjustablility to a clubhead actually puts weight in less than optimal positions for maximum performance. (I do concede that adjustablility can help to fine tune the fitting however).

But come on now....$849 for one of these "white" ones? Thats just crazy expensive.

My gut tells me that if you don't already own a R510-TP then you need to take the poor man's option and buy one of those before foolishly dropping $849 for this new 390cc "white head". Plenty R510-TP's on ebay to choose from at bargain prices and the the R510-TP is the 390cc head from TM PROVEN GREAT over time. It remains the "Holy Grail" for many to this day, and for good reason!
