Can someone enlighten me on why he's carrying a 58* and a 56*? There has to be a reason, I just can't think of one.

My best guess is that neither one of the wedges plays to the loft on the wedge. Probably a 55* & maybe a 50*???

Thanks Greg.

Did anyone see him on "On The Range" last night. His line about having more swing coaches than girlfriends is classic.

Still in the honeymoon here with these irons. I an 8 weeks in and WOWOWOWOW. As I said in another MP-64 Iron thread...
These irons are.... well.... ahhhh.... perfect. Yes they are. Simply perfect. Modern length makes the of center hits tolerable. The sole width is wider than the Mp-59's due to the trailing edge grind of the mp-59's and the grinds are priceless. The feel of these irons are beyond my ability to describe in text. Played yesterday in colder conditions and these made me want to play golf today. Simply awesome set of irons.

Offsets are great. Not to much but enough to feel functional. The toplines are priceless. The transition from hozel to the towlines in the neck are finally smoother than the older mizzy lines of 10 years ago IMO. But the feel is to much. How they do it I don't know. Is it the deep plating/chroming? Is it the underlay? Is it the forging, material, shaft assembly, heavier swing weights, or could it be a little of all the above to make this set feel as soft and solid as they do.

All in. Richard

These have the dg in them. I will swing weight them to see what they came in at. It was the standard weight. Feels heavier than normal. D2+ or D3 feel.

I'm always curious what CH III is playing and found these on Getty. Interesting to see him using the 910F when so many others are using the 913FD

I've always liked the 910F myself and can't go wrong with an R1 - as usual, good club choices for CH III.

Both images from May/2013:
