Thanks again for the opportunity to ask some questions, the product looks fantastic....With the Tour iron why did you choose to go back to a chrome look that looks a lot like the r9 tp as opposed to a satin look that was in the B's or the MC/MB line? To ask a similar question from one of the previous guys what about the comparisons some people will make with the Nike CCi iron from a few years ago as far as the technology goes? I know the marketing side of it is more distance put the polymer inserts and the selection of the metals to increase the feel factor. Finally how much different are the center of gravities vs. the clubs they are replacing? I know that the COG got lower with each of the last few series I.e. RBZ cog was a lot lower than, Burner 2.0 which was a lot lower than original Burner. Thanks again

Are these a replacement for the R11's ? Also with the slot technology giving it more power behind the ball to hit is further, how does the technology not effect the in-between distance shots? Like you are hitting your 9 iron 140 and your PW 125 but you have a 134 shot, i dont want to have the 9 go flying over the green.

Obviously the Speed Pocket is an unconventional change to cavity design, do you see further changes and manipulations to the cavity area in the future? Are there unexplored areas of cavity design that TaylorMade has/will consider for future sets?

In marketing the slot technology, how will you attempt to win over customers who are primarily concerned about how the club feels? That is, the customer base who tends to have a preference for forged irons and are likely users of Mizuno, Miura or other forged irons?

I play the R9 tp KBS STIFF, what advantage will i get from the new irons that i dont get form the R9s,distance,control moving the ball spin from 150 and in?what is the ball flight?
my avg 6iron plays about 170 can i improve on that?

Will the speed slot's higher launch make it more difficult to hit low flighted knockdown shots?

Typically with traditional iron sets, low flighted shots hit lower on the clubface will travel substantially shorter than a normal full shot with the same club. Will the speed slot cause low flighted shots to go proportionally further (meaning, will these shots lose less distance relative to a normal full shots than with traditional iron sets)?

Will the additional speed be enough to take some length off the shaft and still maintain the same distances (meaning, will an RBZ Tour 5 iron at, say, 37.75" go the same distance as a similarly lofted traditional 5 iron at 38")?

I noticed that when fitting for the RBZ fairway wood, almost everyone picked up distance, and for the average players with the 'normal' driver SS of 85-95mph, it was about a 10 yard gain over their gamer. Of course the faster you swing the more you gain, etc.

the question is...for the normal swinger, how much yardage do you think we will see gained here and for the 'tour' swinger, how much there? have you had enough input from the tour staff to say that the '17 yards' from the Rbz Fw's will be another 'club' of distance for the faster player? 1/2 a club for the normal swinger?

With the speed slot behind the cavity (and not behind the face) how does the rebound effect work? Is the slot technology for more distance or feel?

How much customization will there be? I.e grips, shafts? What is the weight discrepancy between the tour and regular versions? What handicaps would benefit from each? What irons currently on the market are they being designed to compete against? Anything comparable for me to compare it too?

Can you talk about the research time and effort put into the sound of these new slotted clubs? Not having them to hit, I'm interested in knowing if these will sound different than irons of the past. Also, How long have you been working on these irons?

I like the simpler design of these clubs and have always been a TM fan.

I see the angle of the clubs (4 iron or instance) seems to have dropped again, at least from the burners. I've always played TM but I don't like going out with the guys, absolutely blasting an iron one or two clubs off the next guy the same distance and knowing that my 4 is really more of a traditional 3. Is there a reason why you are doing this besides the "manliness factor increase"? Can you convince me to try a set of these irons with the technology behind it not just more distance due to decreased face angle?

1. Is the slot filled with an polymer or other material. If not, does the slot fill with debris from contact with the ground? How would you clean and will if affect the slot effects?

2. Will it be available in a 1-2 iron? Hitting thin, low stingers with a little extra ball speed would be fantastic.

What are the increase in ball speeds in the Tour version vs. competitors? Do I need to worry about distance gaps in my irons? I am concerned with wedge selection if my yardage gaps become too large with my short irons to wedges.
