I like Quiros more if you're going the STUD route, Woodland has potential but that & $5 'll getcha a small Starbucks.. His turn is good but his connection is just about nonexistent and in turn he hits it miles but his flight isn't very good.

Look at Arnold Palmer or Sam Snead and you tell me, all the Mod guys are terrified of lower body motion, why that is I have no idea but good luck flighting it properly with an aggro move with the legs, ain't never gonna happen.

Crash, what is your abbreviation of "Mod" and "aggro." I don't know all the golfers lingo.

Why can't an aggressive move with legs flight the ball properly now?

That was spell check gone wild, the aggressive lower body move is the only thing that can flatten out the angle of attack properly and allow you to flight it rather than spray it & hope. My bad, didn't see the typo
Lol...yeah, that's what I thought. Just checking. The lower body aggressive is the only way to shallow out the clubhead at impact with a square face that stays square (minimal face closure rate).

IMO it's more about acceleration. Too aggressive and you loose acceleration at impact area.

It's all in hand speed. We just need to learn how to use our body to speed up the handle, not to speed up the club head.
Now, thats gold.

There is only 2 things a beginner need to worry about...keep the head down, and speed up the handle, not the head.

Don't you mean "keep the (club) head up" ?

Well, what I meant was keep the head (the one you put your cap on) down, and speed up the handle (of the club) , not the clubhead.

Hit with the handle and you can have as many right hand as you want, the head will never turn over too early.

Keeping an open mind here but...wouldnt trying to accelerate the handle sorta necessitate less L wrist c***? If I have a lot of wrist c*** into say, p6, my right hand is more on the side of the shaft instead of directly behind it so I cant really push against it. I just see those with tiny #2 angles by then need to push the handle to keep the swing going (less #2, more hand speed to compensate)

You accelerate the handle to release point while maintaining as much wrist **** as possible. After uncocking starts, any force across the shaft you decide to add in order to keep the handle moving through impact, should be perpendicular to the plane of the wrist **** so that it won't interfere with cf uncocking the left wrist.

There's one way to lengthen the width of the swing, without changing the club length. Your arms must be connected to your LEFT side, for righties. If the arms, at any point during the downswing release, the body has stalled and the width of the swing narrows. If you draw a line through Hogan's shaft at impact, continue that line to interesect his body, the furthermost point of his torso away from the clubhead marks the end of what he is really swinging. That's like adding 10-15 inches to the length of the club. The left side must not stop rotating, and it will begin to work away from the target at impact. I've been hitting my drives over 350 (310 carry) with a very conscious pivot, limited backswing, and teeing it as high as i can (to flatten the swing). I've always tee'd it low until recently.
