I don't think they need to watch us...I'm sure there are wrxer's who report in. It will be interesting to see what happens with the orders already placed. Hopefully, someone from here will let us know.

Please don't order through the Taylormade website. Go through your local pro so he can feed his family. Same options and they probably will fit you for the right shaft too

Didn't read the whole thread, but this isn't the first grossly over-priced driver they have put out. Wasn't there some R7 version that was like 8 bills or something? I just hope it doesn't catch on, because then every company will start jacking up prices.

clearly a shaft upgrade. TM doesn't choose how much oban charges for a shaft offering. If people are saying the shaft alone is MSRP of $800 then id say you're getting a deal. but getting fit and knowing if th shaft suits you would be a good idea as well. I'm sure we'll see a bunch of the white oban shafts on the BST come february.

I actually called today to check on upcharge for a kiyoshi purple. They are not offering it so I asked about the white and the guy says yea you can get it in the super tp. So I ask what is the upcharge and he tells me it will retail for 899. I told him no thanks but I do think it would be an awesome looking club. I'm gonna buy a regular r1 and put a purple in it on my own I guess. May go for the stage 2 tour though.

The Oban Kiyoshi White has an MSRP of $400 on the Oban website and new uncut shafts are going for $375 on eBay. Just an FYI.
