I think we should all get involved and when spring hits, have some new friends and golfing buddies.

I'll start it and see where it goes. I think we can get to know each other a little better and set up some games and hangs. I think there are enough golfers here in the state to have a separate thread dedicated to intros and game set ups.

Copy and paste your info if you want Colorado to know you better!

About me: Started playing golf by urging of buddies last September. I sucked, but now I am addicted. I WILL get better. I had two goals this season: break 100 on a regulation course, and break 40 on a local par 3 9 hole course. Well, I shot an 87 at Four Mile Ranch in September (can you say fluke of nature?), but never beat a 40 at World Golf @ Sand Creek.....

Tag, I'm in Colorado but a long way from the front range, when I do golf there we end up with a foursome with friends or family.

Snowboarding is definitely great here in Colorado, you should be able to pick it up quickly since you know how to surf. Snowboarding gear is expensive but well worth it. image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

It is so hard for me to commit to a league. I would love to but my schedule in the summer is just too crazy. However, does anyone want to get out this weekend. In the 60's in January!

About me: Started playing about three years ago with a buddy of mine, been addicted ever since.

    First name: Dave

    Age: 24

    Location: Littleton

    Years playing: 3

Average scores (70's 80's 90's ect..): I was pretty inconsistent last season so I was anywhere from low 80s to low 90s.

Times per month you play: 5-10. I'm off Wed. and Thurs. and I try to play both of those days during the summer and I'll get a couple of 6am tee times on Sundays thrown in there as well. I mostly stick to the munis as I prefer to play as often as I can. The high end courses can get exprensive quick.

About me: Was 2-handicap in high school many moons ago. Quit during college, started up again during my senior year ('99); down to 7-handicap in 2003 with the Kennedy Men's Club. "Quit" again after starting a family, played 2-3 rounds a year; started playing more often again this past year.

    First name: Lawrence

    Age: 37 this year

Location: Parker, CO (via St. Louis and Kentucky)

    Years playing: 24 years

    Average scores (70's 80's 90's ect..): low to mid-80's

Times per month you play: 2-3 during the summer with the golf league (see signature); I can also usually sneak out for a quick nine on Sunday afternoons between August and May if I don't have too much grad school work (just completed one Master's last year, working on my MBA now)

Mug shot: I don't want to break your computer. I look neither Swedish nor Kentuckian.
