hp model?

what up guys, i was roaming through the shop last night and notice a tour edge fw hp model.....i think...............what's the deal with this.........anyone know if they are good or not.........the price tag looks sweet........but was just wondering about them before spending money on the 3 and 5!

if you're talking about the hl model w/a ust shaft, they're sweet...i bought both the 3 and 5 and smoke them...

im not too sure........i just did a quick scan at the shop, picked it up and prop myself like i was going to tee off, notice the hp right on top of the club where, on most driver, an arrow would be there as in indicator.........it i am sure it said hp...........?

It is definatly HP. I have seen these woods as well. They also have an HP set of irons. From what I have heard, these are not supposed to be great clubs but I have never hit them myself.

yeah.......i've never hit them myself also but was wondering how they perform....what do you mean by they are not supposed to be great clubs? are you talking about structure wise or forgiveness?

The HP series is not bad but its made from weaker metals.

This is Tour Edges botton line. They are for the guy who plays 4 times a year or a beginner golfer who doesn't want to spend alot. The middle line is called HL and that is a great club for the money. The HL line should be on sale at every shop for $70.00-$100.00 per club because they have a new line called the QL coming out soon. The QL is close to the HL with a better looking head for 2006. The HP line is still in for 2006 and its called HP5 instead of HP3. Hope this helps.
